Advice on Sizes: Are the drawers 4 x a4 plus a larger one? And does the top take a4 folders?

The 4 small drawers are A5 and the bottom A4. With regards the top 3 slots I think A4 folders will be a little top heavy but A5 would fit perfectly, too be honest I have tried yet. Its very good quality and perfect for my desk.

Some rubber rings snapped. Where can I find replacements?

Can this take the weight of tablet and laptop, assuming yes as only place those products would fit is bottom shelf.. thanks all

It is really sturdy and could take the weight of tablet on any of the shelves. I have loads on it way more than in the photo and it is fine. I have put my ipad on the top shelves before.

I don't see any reason why you shouldn't be able to paint it. The surfaces are smooth so may need to be sanded or primed. I'd also recommend painting the individual pieces before assembly
