Great pads easy to use - strawberries are very happy - ANY SOLUTIONS HOW TO ERECT BARRIERS FOR SLUGS? No cucumbers, courgettes, Broad beans, French beans, lettuce…..sweet peas latest attack ! What’s going on -our raised beds need to be on long legs above the ground next year unless someone has an organic solution………

Easily trimmed to the size of the pots, they did a reasonably good job. They went a little curled up at the edges after a while but were definitely better than no slug protection at all.

Does what it says on the pack. Keeps strawberry plants off the soil effectively. Need to cut to fit though.

Mulching strawberries

Seem like a good idea. However, despite being "ideal for strawberries", with the fruit emblazoned on the package, these mats are too small for the plants. They should be 50% bigger - both the entire square and the hole in the middle. I've had to make do by using two per plant - cutting them in half and positioning four halves around each plant. I am not sure this will work because I will have lost the integrity of the one piece mat. It will be back to straw next year.

Great product. I needed something to go under some of the strawberry plants that i have in growing bags, so they don't touch the dirt, these were perfect, and less mess than using straw under them.#graywickallotment
