A friend sent me a link to a much more expensive version with all the explanations of what it does. It was more than I wanted to pay so I ordered this one instead since I've had good experiences with NOW brand. I took one a day for four months while traveling and didn't get sick. I use it daily now.

This is my go to vitamin C. Ascorbyl Palmitate is stored in you fat, so it isnt just passed thru your system easily like regular vitamin C, so this form of vitamin C last longer in your system. It also produces collagen if you have daily a skin regimen, this is a great addition! Overall this brand is consistent, and always has good prices.

I HAVE FOR DECADES FELT VERY COMFORTABLE WITH THE NOW BRAND PRODUCTS AND THIS IS NO EXCEPTION. THERE IS IMPORTANCE IN HAVING THE ANTIOXIDANT PROPERTIES OF VITAMIN C ACCESS THE FATTY TISSUES, WHICH WATER-SOLUBLE FORMS CAN'T EFFECTIVELY DO!

This is a great daily supplement to take for prevention and health, I mix it with dmannose together it works great.

A form of fat soluble Vit C that reduces and removes wrinkles, shrinks pores, and evens out freckles and age spots due to melanin. I think this may also be good for melasma. Have used this for years. Both NOW brand and Source Naturals brands are excellent. Do not take more than 1 pill daily. This is FAT SOLUBLE not water soluble like regular Vit C so it will not flush out of your body easily. You will notice a difference in your facial skin in one week. All athletes, aging people, and those with melasma will benefit from this supplement. Very safe.FYI - No form of Vit C causes kidney stones. This is a misinformation and I have even seen doctors saying this. Utter rubbish! It is oxalates + calcium that causes kidney stones in some people. Do not take Calcium supplements in general (unless cleared by doc) as they are bad for your heart. They also mix with oxalates from beets, beet leaves, swiss chard, and any food heavy in oxalic acid, to form kidney stones in SOME people not most. Keep eating your greens and don't overdo the heavy oxalate veggies. Use common sense.

I have noticed a little more pep since taking these. Maybe placebo...maybe not ???

Description says it comes in a pack of two which makes it a good product and a great price... I only received one bottle in my delivery which makes it a good product at a really poor price! I'd love to amend my review should NOW decide to send me the second bottle!

This is fat soluble and absorbs much better IMO. It has also been reported to get inside compromised cells that have protein coatings from pathogens etc. (where water soluble C often fails) Massive doses might cause kidney stones but many herbs and supplements can be worse like beets, rhubarb, massive D etc. I have had stones many years ago but it was never from this. Smaller doses and moderation is the key. Full glasses of water are also important.
