A British gem from France
This really is a lovely little kit. I say little because recently I have been concentrating on 1/12 scale and this is certainly going to try the old eyesight. Don't be deceived by the size of the box, there is a lot of fresh air inside when you open it, I have seen bigger kits in smaller boxes. I think the box is the size it is to accommodate the excellent A4 size instruction booklet rather than the parts themselves. The four grey sprues are crisply and cleanly moulded with no obvious flash. The tyre sprue is made from a rubber compound and very realistically reproduces the tyres. Parts are included to make the traditional Coventry built 'Little Grey Fergie' being the TE-20 (Tractor England) and also the FF-30 (Ferguson France) made at the Saint-Denis factory from 1957. The FF-30 is basically a TE-20 with very minor differences such as seat shape. The main and very obvious difference being the paint job which in the case of the FF-30 is a bright red chassis and engine and in the case of the 'Little Grey Fergie' is - yes, you guessed it - grey. There is also a choice of tyre style for the front wheels. Loads of pictures and info available on the internet, so plenty of ideas if you want to super detail or want to make one slightly different. My only very minor grouse is that the small decal sheet, (headlamp/floodlight lenses, dials and makers plate are in my kit printed slightly out of register. Not enough to worry about though. I'm sorely tempted to get another so that I can make both variations. Strongly recommended if you fancy doing something different from the usual subjects. Would really lend itself beautifully to a diorama. Recommended without any hesitation.

farming
excellent life like model and fairly easy to build and construct you just need to take your time and allow the glue to dry properly, so better to do small sections.

Great purchase
Great box. Nothing broken. Surprised there was no glue. Looking forward to building this little beast

The little grey fergie.
I was so pleased with this kit i have built three of them now, the first as the grey fergie second as the FF30 red and grey and the third as the gold and grey, the three together look stunning.Instructions were easy to follow and parts went together easy with no snags or need for adjustment, i am quite impressed overhaul and would certainly purcase Heller kits in the future. If your into Tractors go for it, i would recommend.

A good, realistic model.
An interesting model to build. Only problem is fit of bonnet. Radiator cap prevented bonnet fitting its' hinges. In this case, radiator cap cut off to improve fit. Final result is good.
