Lightweight and versatile. Colorful enjoyable sound.
These have been around since the 1980's, but one of the key advantages of headphones like these in 2023 is the cable. I'm assuming most people considering these already own airpods or similar. In case you've forgotten what wired headphones are like (understandable, it's been a few years since the iphone 7 dropped the headphone jack), these do not need to be charged, paired, or updated, there is no latency, they'll never drop the connection, they're pretty hard to lose, they have flawless backwards and forwards compatibility with any device that has a headphone jack, and they'll last for decades if taken care of.I recommend using these with the Yaxi earpads, which drastically improve comfort of the portapros by having thicker foam. The stock earpads are thin enough that you can feel the hard plastic against your ear. With that small modification, they are very comfortable. The steel headband is comprised of two halves joined by little sliders. You grab the two sides and pull them apart to expand the headphones, set them on your ears, and then collapse the headband to the point that it's resting comfortably on top of your head. Some people say they snag your hair but I haven't found that to be an issue as long as you don't fiddle with the adjustment too much while wearing them. Despite the lack of any sort of padding on the headband, these are comfortable enough that you can barely feel them because they're so lightweight. The inline microphone is good. Much better quality than you'll find on airpods or any bluetooth device. I went with the version with the microphone because I find this type of headphones very useful for making calls. They don't seal your ear at all, so talking while wearing them feels and sounds normal, as opposed to wearing earbuds or closed back headphones which resonate your own voice in your ears.As for sound quality, these are probably the warmest sounding headphones I have ever owned. There is a huge bump around 80-200hz. Everything sounds extremely rich and a little boomy. Upper mids are very recessed. High female vocals sound fairly flat, while deep male vocals sound unbalanced with the low end being highly emphasized. The sound stage is somewhat open by nature of being open back, but some details in music can get lost. Jazz, hip hop, and lofi music sounds very enjoyable on these. Rock and metal sounds a bit mushy for my taste as the low end of the guitars is so overwhelming.Overall a great pair of headphones that definitely deserve their popularity.

Fun $30 headphones
These headphones are a classic for a reason. Warm sound signature, with a midbass emphasis. Very apparent in songs that has a lot of synths like 80s music and lofi modern music. Only downside with these is that the treble can be a bit recessed in genres like orchestra music or any songs that have alot of string instruments like violin, viola, etc. but other than that it's a great listen!Durability is lacking, a very flimsy build so keep that in mind. however, the fit of the headphones are snug and very easy to adjust the headband. For the price these are hard to beat, that aren't going to blow your socks off. Just a fun all around headphones that does it all for cheap.

Great, broad accurate spectrum of sound in inexpensive, lightweight pacakge
I had a pair of these before, the ones without the microphone, but after oh, about 15 years of use, they weren't working properly anymore. So I sprang for a new pair. They are even better. The spectrum of sound has the same broad range, which make telephone calls clear and classical, jazz and rock covered in their full range, with pretty crisp sound. (OK, not as good as the audio-technicas I bought my son the musician for far, far more money, but these are inexpensive and very portable). But the sound is even crisper than the previous pair. They've also made the cord sturdier, which is what failed in the previous pair. And the fold up nice and compact (I bought the Koss case that's an extra). I'm a huge fan.

Great sound! Comfort is ok
These sound amazing! I was using Apple Earpods for so long, that I just knew I had to change the way I listen. I can hear sounds that I have not heard before, its a new way to listen to music! Although they sound amazing, the comfort is of the iffy side. I'm not sure if I am wearing them incorrectly, but after wearing them for extended periods, the earpads start to hurt my ears. Maybe more swivel in the headphone will help? It seems like they have a bit of that already. I do like how portable they are, the bag they came with was is a little small though. I'm afraid I'll break them trying to get them inside. Still, great sound for the cost!

Durable, comfortable fit, and great sound
I hope Koss keeps making these because they continue to be a good choice for on ear headphones. Sound great without completely sealing you off from the outside world. Mine have been through some abuse over the course of the time I've owned them (about 6 months I think) and are none the worse for wear. I was concerned about that initially because the folding mechanism looks a little spindly. Inline mic and controls work great as well.No complaints.P.S. This review tool asked me to review battery life as well. These don't have a battery to my understanding so I'm not sure what they mean. Like most headphones, they run off of the miniplug.

Superior Quality, Sound, and Company
I have used Koss Headphones for a very long time. I recently had a Koss 44A Titanium headset break one off one side. I called to get another pair, since suppliers were out of stock. Come to find out the REALLY stand by their Limited Lifetime Warranty. I sent the headphones in and they sent me a new replacement. I bought these Koss headphones to use for telephone talking and listening. Again outstanding quality and the Limited Lifetime Warranty. Both have superior sound. I've always been very glad that i went for the Koss 44A Titaniums. I cannot speak too highly of both the company and their products. Thank You! Koss Company! I'm glad you are in our world.
