Hydrating and absorbent
I love this stuff. It feels like Vaseline but much thinner and not sticky so u can use it on your face. It doesn’t have any scent and the ingredients are basic, which are pluses for me.

For ultra sensitive skin and post procedure
Elta Moisture Seal is an excellent moisturizer for ultra sensitive skin and post-procedure. This is the only moisturizer--the only product, period-- that I can use on my upper cheek area without a reaction.I recently had the first of four RSURFX treatments on my face. I applied it to my whole face (under a gentle moisturizing mineral sunscreen) and it helped my face heal quickly with no dryness.I use a tiny bit of it on an ongoing basis, lightly tapped into the skin on my face before applying a tinted CC cream in the a.m. and in the p.m. after cleansing my face with a gentle cleansing balm.

This is worth it.
This will go a long way. Yes, it’s petrolatum and paraffin but it’s MUCH SOFTER than Vaseline and way easier to apply. A pea size amount can cover an average sized face. I use a hypochlorus acid spray then use this on my face, lips, and the back of my hands. I would say this is worth every penny and I can see this lasting a very, very, long time.

Not like Vaseline!
So many reviews said this was like Vaseline. I would say, “yes, it looks like Vaseline.” But it does not FEEL like Vaseline. When you first put it in your hand or on, it may. But Vaseline take much longer to absorb into the skin. This absorbs quickly and is not as oily as Vaseline can be. I do not feel sticky or tacky beyond right after applying. My skin likes it as a heavier moisturizer. It does the job and it does it well. I have used many others that do feel like a glorified Vaseline and this is not one of them. The directions even tell you that if it feels too heavy to pay off excess after 2 min. I actively use Vaseline for my hands, feet, and lips at night so I do know what I’mTalking about. I use this over cuticle oiler or callus softener to seal and it works like a dream.

Great moisturizer!
This moisturizer for me is the best! The quality is really good. It really helps if you have dry skin or just want to add a great mositurizer. It absorbs very well and does not have any scent.

I have extremely sensitive and reactive skin with rosacea that occasionally flares. I am also especially sensitive on my eyelids. This is one of the only products I can slather everywhere, including my eyelids and around my eyes. It works best on damp skin to seal in moisture. Yes, it’s greasy, but it absorbs well and I also like a dewy look. For those who say it’s just expensive Vaseline, it’s not. I cannot put Vaseline on my eyelids without reacting. I also find this formula to be much more soothing and moisturizing. I use it in the morning before sunblock and in the evening after Retin A (which I am usually able to tolerate after using many years). I also find this product extremely economical and great for travel since it can be a “one and done”! I just ordered my second tube.P.S. For those who use only “natural” products, please educate yourselves. EVERYTHING, including water, is a chemical. And many “natural” products irritate (essential oils are a culprit). Poison Ivy is natural, and no one is going to slather it on. So called “natural” and “organic” products are not better or safer just because they bear that label.

This is essentially Vaseline, but a bit lighter. Ideal for sensitive skin.
First, it's important to note the ingredient list: Petrolatum, Paraffin, PVP Eicosene CopolymerThis is essentially an occlusive. It won't hydrate the skin, but if applied to damp skin it will lock in hydration. If you have sensitive skin these are great ingredients, just know that Vaseline is cheaper and essentially the same thing.Vaseline feels a bit heavier to me, the mixture with paraffin in this formulation makes the consistency a tiny bit lighter (although still greasy).I've been doing chemical peels and my skin needs to be greased up afterwards. I can't bear the feeling of heavy Vaseline or Aquaphor all over my face, but the texture of this product is more bearable. Still very greasy, but I need to be greasing up after a chemical peel. The container is nice, and allows for a very small amount to come out at a time.I'm honestly not sure I'll repurchase simply because these ingredients are not expensive, and Vaseline is so much cheaper.

Great for very dry sensitive skin!
My go-to moisturizer for my very dry skin. Melts on your skin without leaving a greasy film. No irritation or redness. Long lasting.
