Very solid board - but know what you are getting!
I've had several customers grab this board with the idea of it being used as some sort of workstation. This is a very bad solution for that option. Asrock Rack have created a board built for a server environment, not a workstation. If you're aware of this, you're going to be happy. If not, several features (or lack of) will upset you. So, let me go through them.(1) This board has absolutely no USB 2.0 headers on the board, and 1 USB 3.0 front panel connector. Many water cooling solutions/etc. want access to a USB 2.0 header, that is not an option here.(2) The rear panel has a sum total of two USB 3.0 ports. So, at your very best, you have a total of 4 USB 3.0 ports on this board. Using as a server this is NOT an issue. However, as a workstation, you may find you need more than 4 USB ports and you would be burning a PCI-E 16X slot for a USB card.(3) The IPMI/KVM remote option is VERY good, however, because it is the older AST2500 instead of the newer AST2600, it is not as fast and only VGA out is an option. You can absolutely install with just the VGA out on many environments, but Windows 10/11 will tend to crash unless you feed them some drivers or you have a newer ISO you've built from (to date this for the future: Summer 2024)(4) The LAN configuration is excellent. 2 10Gb and 1Gb port for IPMI. It should be noted you can access IPMI over any port (tested).(5) The 10Gb ports in this case are from an Intel X710, so in an IOMMU group they are the same; you cannot seperate them for a "pass through" if you are planning to virtualize and split them.(6) Only 2 NVMEs, which in comparison to workstation WRX80 boards will seem low(7) BIOS is not updated since 6/2022These additions are excellent:(1) Comes with 2 Oculink x4, including Oculink to SATA breakout (x4 drives). This is how they get to the possibility of 12 SATA.(2) Really sturdy and stability is great.(3) this is the perfect layout for 4U configurationsThis is a board built from the get go for server projects and it achieves that. It's stable. It functions.. The IPMI allows remote management.I'd recommend this for those looking for something that fits their goal, whether that is virtualization, homelab or truenas. This board will accomplish all of those VERY well. Using this as a workstation is going to irritate you. Plan your build accordingly!

Motherboard dead after 6 months
Product worked for 6 months before complete failure, there were times beforehand when it would shut off after running for a whole day but I considered it a fluke, now the only functioning part is the power LED which endlessly blinks, I can't even get the fans to spin
