Just arrived today as a birthday present for my twin brother. Looks great will put some whiskey in later to try it out however. The funnel arrived broken as unfortunately its cheap plastic. Expected a stainless steel or pewter funnel. So will have to give it a steady hand to fill it up for him because who gives someone and empty flask. Aswell as noticed some left over what I can only assume is cutting grease inside the lid. Otherwise very impressed however would like to request a new funnel send out if possible. Otherwise very happy think he will love it.

The hip flask is lovely and of a really good quality. Bought for using at wedding. Fitted plenty of liquid. Deducted a star as the funnel provided is of poor quality. It is silver plastic and was marked. We bought three as presents for wedding and all three had the same issue with funnel. A really nice gift on its own, let down by the poor accessory.

I buy from the English Pewter Company quite frequently; I have their whisky glasses, a decanter and a shaving mug. As always, this comes presented in a box that is perfect for gifting, and with sturdy packaging that protected it perfectly during a long plane ride.The leather is quite stiff when arrives, but I broke it in before I took the photo with some Saphir Medalle D'or 1925 and a good beating, and it softened right up. There is no question about this being real leather; the Saphir creme does not get absorbed by PU leather.When it arrived the thread on the cap was a little out of sync, so I jammed a chopstick into the hole and wiggled it around until it lined up perfectly, and now opens and closes smoothly. I have bought from them several times over the years, and everything I have bought gets daily-weekly use and remains as good as new, year in, year out. I plan to take this flask down the engravers at some point; it is very appropriate for this.Overall an outstanding product that will last a lifetime.

This was bought as a present for the special birthday of a friend. Arrived boxed but the flask itself was enclosed in a velvet type pouch which is a nice touch. The flask itself is lovely and the leather porch gives an added touch of luxury. Excellent buy.

Worth paying for the quality you get here. One of those items you enjoy using every time

I felt bad for the company that made this due to the number of negative reviews. The item I received had clearly been opened already. The sleeve didn't seem to be on property, and worse there was a fair amount of liquid inside.Suspecting it was faulty I refilled it with clean water and it appears to leak.I'm returning the item.I wonder how many times an item can be hastily checked, rinsed, and shipped out again before being marked as faulty?I wonder if all the negative reviews are for the same flask?Poor quality control and craftsmanship on an expansive item.

Overall nice, but funnel is made of cheap plastic and came broken. Didn't expect it to be such a low quality considering that the hip flask is well made.I made new funnel myself.Haven't used it yet because it's a gift.
