Not sure why so many people are having problems with these cables, they’ve worked great for me. Bought a pair about a year ago which are still working fine, and recently bought a second pair which I also had no issues with. They sound very clean and clear, and the cable/banana plugs are of very good quality. I couldn’t ask for much more in a speaker cable. I highly recommend you give these a try if your looking for a high quality terminated speaker cable at a great price. Thanks!

TL;DR: THESE CABLES DO NOT MAKE COMPLETE CONNECTIONS.Purchased these and was proud of my find for quality cables on the cheap. I was tricked, unfortunately.These cables did not make a solid connection to my Focal Aria 948 speakers, and were rocking around inside of the binding post. I spent two hours trying to determine why I was not getting sound from my speakers (just got the whole system put together, pre/pro, amplifier and all) and I finally went behind the speakers, jostled the connectors around and voila! I had sound. I had to press down very hard to maintain a connection, and they unseated themselves from full contact and I had lost sound.I measured and cut some bare speaker wire and used that to connect my speakers. It works suitably. These cables are not secure and are not lengthy enough to make full contact. Avoid these cables!On the upside, they are robust cables with good cable construction. If I hadn't had 50 feet of speaker cable I might have just stripped these haha.

Very good and cost effective speaker cable with Monster quality banana plugs. Excellent sound reproduction and build strength. I own AQ cables that retail for over $200 msrp. Won't waste any more income on snake oil speaker cables.

This cable was 3' exactly as described, though it went plug end to end. Other manufacturers measure wire directly to offset slack from plugs. Good quality cable otherwise, but due to 2" lost had to go with another pair and scrapped these for its original project. Works great with AudioEngine A5's!

Seems like very good quality materials in a well made audio cable. Sounds great and an incredible value. I have paid big bucks in the past for high end audio cables and I think these cables give them a run for their money. Don't be afarid to try them

WHAT FOLLOWS IS MY ORIGINAL REVIEW, AT THE END I HAVE AN UPDATE:Ordered two sets, one from Amazon and one directly from Sewell. Both arrived Dead on Arrival. Fiddling with the connection made one of them work sporadically but I have no interest in trying to get it to work every time I turn on my audio gear. The other one is completely dead. Save your money.UPDATE:Okay, I'm updating my original review above and revising my original rating from 1 star to 3. I reached out to Sewell Direct and they offered to provide me a refund if I sent back the cables and paid for shipping. They said they would reimburse me for shipping as well. They also said they would be happy to send substitute cables if I wanted them. Originally I spent a few days trying to get the cables to work in various receivers and speaker setups ( I have many) to no avail. Thus, my original review. As I really didn't want to go through the hassle of packaging up the cables and going to the post office, Etc. I decided to read through some more of the reviews and look at some online information as well as to why this was an issue. I decided to unscrew the plugs and take a look at the cables, all of them except one looked perfect. But I fiddled with them anyway and made sure everything was nice and tight and then I screwed the plugs back on and tried it again. This time they worked. So, given that Sewell was pretty responsive with customer service and the cables now work, I have upgraded my review to 3 stars. Still dinging them for the two stars because of all the irritation and frustration. Hope everyone else is enjoying their cables and having a good experience.

These are high quality cables, very heavy, a testament to their actual gauge and copper content. However, there is one very minor design flaw. The thickness and therefore stiffness of these cables are why some people are experiencing banana plug failures. One can combat this by making sure there is little to no stress on the cables at rest. These cables will see heat and vibration and coupled with stress will almost guarantee failure at the base of the banana plug. Also, make sure plugs are screwed on tight with pliers to ensure solid and lasting connection. I have not had any issues or failures with these cables and can confirm the stated gauge. Buy em! I read the reviews of this cable and the complaints that one or both of the cables did not work or failed early into their use. I did not really believe the negative reviews. How hard can it be to make a cable with a solid compression banana fitting? However, when I hooked up the new cables to my Primaluna integrated amp....NO SOUND from the right channel. After checking everything and switching sources, it was evident that it was the cable itself. I switch back to my old cable on the right side and.....voila.....sound. These cable look and feel like they are high quality and I am sure I can strip the end and put on my own compression banana plug and fix the cable, but I should not have to. At the price, these would have been a great value if they worked. Not working, they have no value.
