I love this .. so much better than hose lock. I have only had it a few days so I am hoping it’s robust and doesn’t break but so far so good. It is metal but lightweight and has a smooth trigger and it turns very easily to the different controls. The spray is excellent on all settings .. far superior to Hoselock .. ridiculous to say about a garden hose but really enjoy using it. Great value for money if it continues like this.

Well, I I usually get he Hozelock gun but after the front of the handle split after this winter, (which apparently is quite a common problem for them if you look at their reviews) I decided to look for alternative options. Hozelock’s plastic ones just don't last that long and i’m replacing them every couple of years, their all metal is about £40 and thats a big no. So I found this one which is about the same price as Hozelock’s all plastic one, but it’s metal. Read the reviews and ordered it.First of all, it feels solid, the hozelock adapter was already fitted into the bottom and it comes with 2 spare rubber washers. The circular jet select is smooth and turns easily and the flow rate adjuster is manageable with just a flick of the thumb whilst using it. It has a trigger lock at the base of the trigger for if you want to continuously spray without having to keep the trigger pressed which is nice. The flow rate will depend on your pressure and how open you’ve turned your tap on and then you can adjust it further with the adapter on the gun.Plugged into my existing hozelock hose and turned on the tap. Zero leakage anywhere which was really good, nice snug fit on the hose and swivels freely once connected. Once the trigger is pressed, I went through the various dial settings and there’s a good array of them, basically everything you could ask for in a hose gun. Compared to the popular hozelock gun which I usually get, it feels better, more solid, nice control, good settings and no leakage. I’m personally not going back to hozelock with these and wouldn’t pay £40 for their metal one when this one cost about a third of that. Only time will tell if it stands upto the weather and usage, but pretty impressive so far. Oh and it comes in about a dozen different colours, I chose orange :-)

I've tried several of these trigger nozzles over the years. None has performed well for more than two gardening seasons. The best so far was the brand-leader's best all-plastic one but, although it was designed well, the materials let it down in the end. This one performs very well for my purposes and feels positive and robust in my hand. I know the loop that retains the trigger will fail at some point, but it will be an easy repair. I can't recommend it until it has been in service for a while, but there is nothing to indicate that it won't be a good buy. I shall report back!

Works well. Metal sturdy and not affected by sun damage (plastic becomes brittle).Excellent price.

Well made heavy weight hose attachment. Feels stronger and better made than the typical plastic ones. All spray patterns work well and it seems to deliver a much better pressure than the standard Hozelock twisty attachment that came with my hose.This review is an update to an initial review where the plastic connector failed on my first item, however the customer care was excellent and my gun was replaced.

It seems good quality, a nice weight to hold (I've been using plastic versions 'til now), the spray options are good, fits the hozelock 'superhoze' connector perfectly (and the yellow one is a good colour-match) and it doesn't leak anywhere. Happy customer :)

Works as you would wish. Feels well out together and much better value than the hoselock. Not had too long but has been great so far

Seems like a good hose nozzle at the moment & not that expensive. Well made & lots of settings to choose from, so far so good!
