ASP.NET Core in Action, Third Edition

ASP.NET Core in Action is a great read and cuts through the clutter of an extensive set of frameworks. I read the book cover-to-cover and was impressed with the progression from simple to complex. Each concept is presented in a challenging yet approachable way. Frankly, the material is extensive and can be quite complicated. The book helped prioritize the important and filter the distracting or unimportant material. It is very well done and I recommend it for anyone wishing to tackle ASP.NET.

A great read on many levels! Andrew covers ASP.NET Core from several different angles including comparisons on when different approaches may make sense. There have been some significant changes and optimizations to .NET Core and even people who have been developing will find this new material helpful. It is also great the Andrew shares all kinds of helpful tips and links that your copy will be full of bookmarks! Even just this insight is worth the cost of the book. I have been developing in Windows environments for decades, am a seasoned professional, and I still would highly recommend this book.

This book will let you start programming immediately with .NET core. Unlike other books, where you need to read and re-read, this book lets you create .NET core project right away and start using dependency Injection and other concepts (middleware). No need to search countless articles on the web to figure out how to accomplish something. Well done!

This book provides all the details needed to expand your knowledge (or sharpen you .NET tools) and has accompanied examples to see it working on your machine. The combination of the examples with the chapters, helps me to solidify the knowledge and build on for specific scenarios that I encounter.

I’m not sure about the content of the books, but I’m not happy with how the condition of the book is
