Awesome knife that will be my back-up in combat.

Cold steel is known for it large over built knives. This is one of the best deals ever as it is one of their high end very polished fit & finished knives with an excellent stainless steel S35VN. The price as a steel.

This is a big beefy knife. Blade is sharp and the grinds are symmetrical. There is no play in the blade and the lock is very solid. Google the tri-ad lock and you will see it is one of the strongest locks you can have on a knife. Though the downside to the lock is that this is not a knife you can flick open. The handles are thick and rounded, so I do not see hot spotting to be an issue. I did notice one scale is slightly lighter in color than the other side. Not really an issue just something to note. The pocket clip is a big old slab of metal and holds the knife well. Not my first Cold Steel so I knew not to expect perfection, what they do is make some pretty solid knives. Due to the size this will not be my daily carry, but I will update if anything unexpected happens.

I have the 4max scout, SR1 Lite and this knife. I like them all so it’s a tough choice. SR1 lite is at such a great price it’s almost hard not to just buy two (or three) of those for the price. The AD10 has better fit and finish with bronze bearing washer as compared to the SR1 lite. The g10 is nicely done but in my hands it feels a little slippery. Locking mechanism is most secure and it’s not one of those flipper, fidgety toy knives but can be opened and closed with one hand. Great choice for camping and hiking where you need a jack of all trades type knife. For edc I like something with thinner blade material compromising strength for easier slicing and lighter weight. Rock on!

This knife has an incredible feel in your hands. It is super beefy and solid as a rock. Everything about this knife is top tier. It is made in Taiwan, but don't let that be a reason to turn away. It would be criminal to do so. I would put this knife up against any knife, made anywhere. This is my new favorite. The action on it is very smooth. The knife is razor sharp. Solid lock up. Ergonomically superior to many knives out there. Made with very good materials throughout. The price is amazing for what you get. They knocked it out of the park with this one.

The G-10 handles are two different colors, and the blade came dirty. The knife does not look new, it looks like it's been used or messed with.

This is an awesome knife in so many aspects; blade and handle material, blade grind. blade design, toughness, lock strength.. if only the handle had been half an inch longer, it would've been a perfect knife.

For $120 or so this knife is a steal. This is built like a tank and will last a lifetime. Excellent quality and beautifully made. Although a tad big, I carry it everyday with no issues at all. If your looking to possibly purchase this knife, just do it....NOW!
