Great Book & Simple Recipes
I bought this book because I saw it had shopping list to purchase all the ingredients every week. The anti-inflammatory diet has been a game changer for me, helping me drop some much-needed weight and feel better overall! The organization in this book is fabulous! There are pictures for every recipe, And very simple instructions. I relied on this book for a couple of months until I got to know what I could eat without coming, inflamed again. For anyone who is a little puffy, has an auto immune disease, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, or just wants to feel better eating Whole Foods … This is a great book to start with!

Complicated recipes
Good information but the recipes weren’t very appealing to me and many were complicated to prepare with a demanding job and two children to look after it wasn’t something I felt I could follow but with careful planning and time blocked off to prepare meals would be worth it to follow

Better than expected. If you are looking for an anti-inflammatory eating plan, this is it.
After many months of searching for a book that would be understandable, I ordered this book based on the cover. Imagine my joy when I opened it and there was a plan for daily eating and a place to keep track. At first I thought I would very carefully keep track in pencil as I wrote notes and what I ate, drank, etc. Then I decided that was crazy because the book wasn't so expensive and I could buy another one if I wanted to. Or maybe the authors would produce an updated version.

Noticed a difference
This diet doesn't focus on calories but rather on eating foods that help reduce inflammation or don't trigger inflammation. It has menus for every day. It includes dessert many times. The recipes are in the back. I rarely feel hungry. The meals are satisfying and tasty. Most are quick and easy to make.My only complaint is they needed a better editor. There were ingredients missed on the grocery list. All the recipes were designed for two people. They tell you to just cut everything in 1/2 if it's one person. How do you do 1/2 an egg? On a few recipes they missed the unit of measurement. It would say something like 1/4 of olive oil. 1/4 cup? 1/4 tsp? 1/4 of amount listed? Lastly they don't give portion sizes. They would tell you to have 2 cups of rice then put rice in each bowl. Is that two cups cooked rice? Pre-cooked? How much in each bowl. It would require some logic and cooking experience to figure it out at times. These issues were few though.Overall, I highly recommend the book. They do say in the book that inflammation caused by disease may not have as much success. I didn't experience much reduction in inflammation body wide, but my digestive system, which had previously been in turmoil, felt much better. I have more energy and feel better in general. Even though it was not the goal, I also lost weight.

Not for me
If you follow the weekly menu, you must buy an unbelievable amount of food that you only use once . It is not attainable. They try to have you eat 7 veggies a day. I could not afford the food bill. The cookbook is sitting on the shelf.
