Well, I was a little hesitant when I read some of the reviews. I bought this to take to high school football games to watch my daughter cheer and try to stay cool. I used this last Friday and it was 90 degrees out. I put water in it and used it for a couple hours. I actually turned it off a couple times because the mister and fan made me "cold." I made sure I charged it for a couple hours because I also read that some of these don't hold their charge. I didn't experience anything negative about the unit. I did turn the light off (it has a button to select a number of different colors if using at night) to not waste the battery and didn't have the fan on high the entire time, both battery saving techniques. The misters work well but you'll struggle to feel them if it's windy and it's not right next to you. You can always hold it and it works great! I put cold water in the unit and the mist was nice and cold and blown on me by the fan. All in all, I have no complaints about this thing and it worked exactly the way I hoped it would. Looking forward to using it the next time!

We used this outside 90 degrees, put ice water inside the chamber. Works like a regular misting fan. You literally have to pick it up and put it close to your chest to cool yourself! I should’ve listened to the reviews. Worst of all I spent a total of $81.03. So I requested a refund and I received an email that I will only get $20.59!!! They are charging me a restocking fee for $60!!! More than half of my money. Here is their breakdown: Item Refund: $75.55Item Tax Refund: $5.48Restocking Fee Refund Deduction: ($60.44)What the actual eff!! So if you want to buy or try this because you read most reviews stating that it’s great, and one review that says it doesn’t work outside in actual heat: BUY IT FROM HOME DEPOT ! At least you get your actual refund and not get ripped off!! Needless to say I decided to get forced into keep this piece of junk just so I can have some form of peace of mind not to feel completely duped !😡

Third try is the charm. All of these stupid ads about blast chill tech is just smoke and mirrors. All these things are just fans with mist ie Evaporitive Coolers. What you want is fan power and mist power and 90% of them are crap in both categories.This one delivers with great mist and great fan power. In addition it's water tank is much larger than most. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is the fan blows upward and there isn't a way to direct the flow. So on a night stand it goes over your head. I put something under the back edge to solve the problem.This is the third one I tried and is the only one worth getting. The other little box ones, or the ones with special hexagon lattice inside, and the one which shows you a refrigerator coil which it doesn't actually have are garbage. They don't put out enough air flow or mist to do anything. Get this one!!

It was a gift for my brother. He said it works great in Florida weather when he goes out. Although it's small but works great . The air flow makes the area he is sitting cool. The important part is being portable

Works great for 1 person use... when kept close to ones self. Keep it filled with cold water and ice!

It worked great for 7 months. It cools the air but does not feel like ac. Great product but very cheaply made. Battery lasted at start for 4 hours and after a few months only 30 minutes. If it was constructed better it would be very good. Do not buy.
