Great product to protect our health.
Purchase a couple of these for me and the wife for outdoor activities and to prevent the absorption of plastic particles leeching from plastic water bottles that are hazardous to your health.

Keeps you healthy
Bought for a 2 week trip to India, which is known for bad water quality. We didn't get sick. As others have noted its a little challenging to such the water up since its going through that big filter, but its worth it. If you bite it the same time your sucking up the water its easier. You get used to it.The only thing is this: the seals are so tight that if you open it up during a flight or after it, the water comes spraying out the top.

Good product that keeps you safe
I was planning a trip to a country with poor water sanitation and was worried about the possibility of getting sick, so after looking into various types and brands of water filtration systems, I got this LifeStraw Go Series.I'd read reviews claiming the bottle is difficult to drink from, but that wasn't my experience. You do have to use a little effort to pull the water up into the spout because the water is moving through several layers of filtration, but to me it was like drinking a thick milkshake through a straw. You do need to remember to clear out the backwash after drinking. Simply blow some air through the mouthpiece to clear out any leftover water so that it doesn't pool on the top near the cap, and to help preserve the longevity of the filter. The LifeStraw comes apart for easy cleaning, and there are specific instructions for cleaning and storing. It worked perfectly for me during my trip and kept me from getting sick. Definitely worth the cost and effort.

Clean tasteless water
Leaked due to temperature change or altitude change. Great color. Love having clean water.

Insure your water is safe when traveling out of the country.
I used this on a 10-day mission trip to Ghana. Easy to use and insured the water I was drinking was safe. I had absolutely no digestive issues. Quality product and filter will last a very long time before needing replaced. Recommend to anyone traveling and unsure of the water source for drinking.

Great product, great company
I nabbed one of these during the black Friday sales. I'd been meaning to for a while, as the water at my work is horrible. I don't know if the pipes are bad or what, but it always tastes like a weird combo of pool water and dirt. This bottle has absolutely solved that and makes me feel a lot better about drinking tap water! It works so well that I had forgot i filled it up at work one day and only realized later when I was thinking the water was really good, haha. The 2-stage filter works. The main part of the lifestraw filters particles down to bacteria and gets 99.99-something percent of them. This part of the filter lasts a very long time. The smaller activated carbon filter at the top is what gets the stuff that tastes bad. These need to be replaced more frequently. However, I've had mine a bit over a month and use it daily. I haven't noticed a change in taste yet, so I reckon I've got a fair bit longer before it needs replaced.I like the way the bottle looks, and the new design with the cap and handle is very convenient. Everything is threaded, which makes disassembling and cleaning the bottle very easy. There's not much to complain about!Last, LifeStraw is a company that helps people, and I'm glad to spend my money with a company that does some good with it.Edit: Still a daily use item for me nearly 7 months later. I just now have noticed that I need to change the charcoal filter out. Pretty impressive life!
