I haven't enough experience or be painting frequently to just add water/solvent to paint and spray ,, usually too thin so bought this after loosing other one, saves time and frustration so even a little dear for what it is ,, pays for itself .

II have used the Viscosity cup a couple of times and realise how easy it is to use it prior to doing a spray job it makes things much more easier

I was hoping for a larger funnel but it will do. Seller should make clear size from picture.

If your new to using different types of paint such as acrylic like I did. It is worth first using this to gauge the consistency what you are after. Do it a few times and thereafter you will not use it and play it by eye.I was having spray problems using a LVLP gun with a 1.4 nozzle for acrylic paint. I timed for around 40-50 seconds and issue was resolved.Every now and then I check my consistency using this to double check I’m in the sweet spot.

Seems a bit expensive for a plastic cup with a hole in it....but it works as described and is well made. If you need one then this is up to the job and removes any guesswork.
