Hill's Science Diet Perfect Weight, Adult 1-6, Weight Management Support, Dry Dog Food, Chicken Recipe, 25 lb Bag

I have a 20 lb maltipoo that gets a little sensitive to treats and food (he throws up). This brand has been gentle on his stomach, as well as the treats from the same brand. Each food pellet is about the size of a dime. My dogs prefer these to the more round shaped kibble from the small breed line.

I have a miniature Pinscher and she is a lot taller than most min pins. However she has struggled in the past with being just slightly overweight. She also struggled with a case of pancreatitis. With some lifestyle changes things got better. But then all of a sudden we noticed she was having allergic reactions to the dry food we had been feeding her prior which was another weight management food by another brand. When I looked at the bag I realized they had changed their formula and did not advertise it on the bag and it contained one of the ingredients she is allergic to. I was hesitant to go back to hills science diet because she did not like it the very first time we tried it however this time she absolutely loves it. She has been high energy, enjoys the taste ( if she can even taste it she's like a Hoover) and her bowel movements are much better. Purchasing it on Amazon was much cheaper than getting it from the vet. Overall this is a quality dog food that I suggest to anyone whose dog is having health problems as Hill science diet has different types of dry food for all kinds of problems like chronic diarrhea or overall health problems and aging. The ability to start out with a 4 lb bag to see how she would handle it as opposed to a 75 lb bag from my vet is amazing. This also costs much less than big pet store retailers.

When I carried Delilah my lab) to the vet for her annual vaccination, I was told to put her on a strict 1 1/2 cups of food in the morning and another 1 1/2 in the evenings, and treats are green beans or carrots.I will admit she got treats several times a day, soup bones, nudges, or some other treats. So, I came home and ordered this for her. I cut out the other treats too. After she started eating Hills her poops were easier on her, so surprisingly easy, she had a poop accident in the house (never ever before), she was as surprised as I was. Not only was it easier for her it was much greater in volume, not piles, just big poop, not mushy, solid, and not stinky smelly.Her coat became healther, shiner, and fuller.After seeing her be more energetic and losing weight to make her feel better, the cost of Hills is worth the difference in how Delilah feels.
