We wanted a tap, that can be used as a shower for washing our dogs feet, as we live in between two farms.The tap automatically switches back to normal mode once the water is turned off.It is very well made, although the removable head is made out of light solid plastic.I believe there are two different heights of this tap, we choose the taller of the two, which is perfect for our needs.

6 months in the tap is leaking, contacted Hansgrohe and a new cartridge is being sent out to replace faulty one. Seems to be a common issue as happy to get engineer to fit it. First tap that has let me down, but fair play to Hansgrohe for rectifying it.

Really nice tap, but, sadly, it started leaking after one month. We also had issue with hose not retracting fully.

Do not buy this tap from Amazon if you are in the UK as it will need an adaptor on the pipes to fit UK plumbing. Very annoying experience.

The media could not be loaded. Sadly, like a lot of the people who have left negative reviews, ours has started leaking from the top after only 18months. We left it a little while thinking it was a small leak, but unknown to us the water also found its way down the pipes from somewhere inside the body of the tap and has damaged the wooden shelving under the sink.I contacted Grohe and sent pictures of the leak - they were very good in quickly sending a replacement cartridge - it must be a common problem if they could tell from the pictures that this was the faulty part that needed replacing.Unfortunately I haven't been able to remove the grub screw that holds the handle to the tap so that I can replace the cartridge - possibly because there is limescale buildup from the leak. Seems like I've now rounded the grub screw trying to remove the thing - arrggh!Otherwise, it's a lovely tap but the leak and the problem trying to repair it make me deeply regret buying the thing.
