I love black beans, but hate cooking them from dried when I want to use some (canned are ok), but I hadn't found a canned refried black bean that I liked. They often have a weird, tinny taste. So when I saw these, I decided to try them- and I am NOT disappointed!! The consistency is creamy, the pouch is convenient, and the flavoring is subtle but good. They're going to be useful for so many things- bean dip, in enchiladas/burritos/tacos, etc., and even as a quick soup, with the addition of one of those small 1 c. containers of broth. These will definitely be on 'repeat buy' for me... They also make a refried pinto bean, so I'm going to try those, too.

These are absolutely delicious, add some seasonings and put them on a burrito or make a dip with them. The price is great on here also! Bought more right away

OK, these probably aren't as good as my favorite local restaurant, but hey the local cuisine is about as Mexican as you can get north of the Rio Grande. I needed soft food that's high in fiber, and refried beans are great for that. Very tasty.

Love these and they’re cheaper online. Super easy to heat up - just pop the packet in the microwave. Good quality and the taste is amazing!!!!
