The ONLY Battery Worth Having for the ATN Camera Scope!
I got an ATN X-Sight II HD for my birthday with another AR style rifle and took it off that rifle and put said scope on this long range Texas Bushmaster brush popper I already had for some night time hog removal action! The first thing I found out before I could even get this amazing camera scope out to the range to sight it in was, IT has the unfortunate capability of creating DEAD BATTERIES in very short order!TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE YO!SO... HERE is the CURE for that, enough LITHIUM Battery power to run the unit ten times longer than the Energizer Bunny Lithium Batteries, that only LAST a few hours of solid use, PERIOD, and COST a small fortune to replace regularly, OH DID I say it ONLY uses (EXPENSIVE) LITHIUM Batteries!I charged it fully, takes awhile, mounted it on the rifle, hooked it up, and put the rifle in the case, it has been there about two months now and I take it out now and then too see if it still has power, it does, PLENTY!I just took it out and put it on the charger while doing some maintenance on the weapon, it still had over 9/10th's of it's charge! So, IF you have a battery hungry ATN Scope... Git you Sum!

Power pack in no way shape or form fits into the shoulder stock pouch.
To begin with this is advertised to be compatible with the HD optics kit which it is not seems to be only compatible with the 4K unit (USB C cable instead of the mini was included) . Main issue is as you can see by the photo is that the power pack does not fit into the shoulder pouch as it should. The power pack is way too big ... and white. I'm sure I can find other uses for the power pack and purchase one that fits instead. However, for the price this is sold for I would have been better off just buying a power pack and zip tieing it to the stock.

The best parts of this kit are the rubber replacement cap and the on/off switch on the battery.
This kit comes with a rechargeable battery pack, right angle plug, replacement rubber cap for the scope that is supposed to work with the right angle plug and keep water out, and a case to be fastened to the stock and to place the battery pack in. The good: the battery has a charge status indicator and an on/off switch. The bad: the rubber cap is too thick or you might say the right angle plug is too short. The rubber cap edge pushes the right angle plug out of the connection hole. This means that you will have trouble keeping external power to the scope if you use the rubber cap as intended. The battery case will not work with AR style weapons unless your stock has slots under the cheek-piece. You won't be able to use the charging handle on most ARs if you use this battery case as intended. Also, the battery does not have a solar charging surface as many such batteries do. For the price, this kit should be premium, not basic. It was not money well spent. Make your own kit by combining similar parts and you will do better. The only thing you won't have is the rubber replacement cap but, maybe you can make that too.

needs a couple tweeks
This is a must have for your atn x-sight II. There really is no need to use the AA batteries when you have it. There are a couple of things that are kind of annoying, and frankly could've been designed better.1. The pouch is a challenge to fit. I imagine it is the same no matter the weapon. The Velcro straps can be moved around but it is still challenging.2. The wire can get in the way. A slot in the pouch to store it would be nice. Also, The wire is run through the zipper. This is going to cause chafing during normal use and shorten the life of the wire. A grommet to run the cable through could protect the wire from the zipper.3. The battery power switch is of the bottom of the battery when placed in the pouch making it inaccessible without removing the battery. If the battery is turned over, the wire connector is at a 90 degree angle in the wrong direction.
