Easy to use and durable, well made
Amazing tool. Easily got branches down thirty and forty feet up. Be safe while using and you’ll have an easy time with this in your yard. Gardens will get much more light now and I’m pleased.

Extremely usefull and effective.
Fabulous and effective. I had 3 large overhanging limbs (about 24 inches in diameter) about 25 ft plus above the ground. It is early spring (before they refilled with moisture). I improvised a bit with a rubber hammer as the ‘toss lead’ and tossed the mallot with a thin nylon string as a feed line, and then towed the heavy product rope over the limbs. (at 76 tossing a rubber mallot 30 feet is still doable :-). And even at my age, was able to saw the limbs off with about 15 to 20 cycles. I was amazed at the ability to cut the limbs. Be very very careful of the potential fall lines and be well clear. The weight and size of limbs are deceiving when they are ‘swaying’ 25 feet above the grond. But it saved me calling a tree service and saved them from growing over power lines and/or the house. Product is extremely usefull for limbs that are largely horizontal and about to hang over sensitive structures. Highly recommend the product, and would buy it again (although it will probably never wear out).

Works great, unless it gets pinched and stuck. CAMPNDOOR High Limb Rope Saw
Purchased this High Limb Rope Saw to cut back some 4" diameter branches coming in from the apartments behind our house. These are about 20 feet up in the air so getting to them on our ladders is not possible.Long story short, it was not difficult getting the rope and then saw into place in about 2 minutes. I got over confident and started sawing away by myself at about a 30 degree angle to the branch, effectively cutting across both the top and bottom of the branch. Within about a minute I was about 70% through the limb when it split down the branch across the top, dropping the tips of the branch to the ground, but leaving it hanging at the cut with the bottom of the chain pinched deeply in the branch. No amount of pulling and fiddling around with the ropes would free the chain. Actually when I pulled hard on the rope attached to the bottom, the knot eventually slipped free so I only had the top rope left attached to the chain. After an hour with my neighbors watching, I gave up and used an electric chain saw to cut up much of the tips of the branch resting on the ground. Amazingly, two days later, I came home, looked out the back window and saw the entire brand on the ground! The three had finally given up the branch at the cut point! At that point I was easily able to retrieve the rest of the saw which I placed in a bag with oil.ADVICE: 1. Tie good knots onto the chainsaw so it won't slip loose! 2. Use two people to make the final cut across the TOP of the branch! This will avoid an inevitable pinch across the bottom. I would start with an angled cut across the bottom and top, but switch to just the top of the branch (2 people, standing opposite and far apart) after a few seconds. This saw does cut fast and deep! Think carefully about your angle of attach before getting started. Unless you are good at climbing trees, it's very possible to get stuck.

Very Impressed
I had set my expecting to be very low, knowing that if it worked properly, it would be fantastic. Opened the unit at 3:15, connected the ropes, I did add about 40ft of twine to the bag. The limb was 30ft high. 5 tosses and I was ready to go. I was alone and the chain did get snagged a few times, a little common sense and I was able to continue. The limb was over 6" in diameter, and it took a total of 15 minutes to complete the cut. I was cautious, so no issues, but the limb fell and landed on the leaf end which pushed the limb a good 8ft past the backside of the. Super pleased!

Did not come as advertised. safety concern.
**Update 3/24/25** I reached out directly to the company and they immediately sent out a replacement and stated that it "will include all the correct components as listed on our Amazon product page". And that they did, but they also changed the images on their product page to remove these safer locking links. See the attached with before and after photos. While I commend them on attempting to make it right, this comes off as sketchy and not in the best interests of the customer. At this time I can't recommend this saw as it is too easy for the carabiner clips to accidently lock over a branch making it difficult if not impossible to retrieve. If this were to occur midway through sawing a branch then you could potentially be left with a partially sawn branch that could break and fall at an inopportune time. Because of their sending out a replacement that is inferior and altering their product description to match that, I am dropping the rating down from a 2 to a 1 star. This not only is a safety issue, but one that appears they are trying to hide.At first I liked this saw. Simple and cut well. Mine did not come as advertised though. It had 4 carabiners, when the product description shows it comes with 2 carabiners and 2 quick links. I didn't think much of this until I tried to cut a branch down and as I pulled the saw up the carabiner locked itself onto a branch. The branch was relatively thin so the carabiner clip slid right onto it. Thankfully, with it being thin I was able to use a pole to push the carabiner up the branch far enough to be able to bend it down and pull the carabiner off, but this took well over an hour of work. I will not be using this as is and don't suggest using it if you do not have the lockable links to use around chain. Heck, even around the weight bags, as they could easily get caught this way too.I contacted the company but have not heard back yet. I'm giving this a 2 star as it worked, but did not come as advertised, I will update after I heard back from the company.
