Q: Has anyone used this without a liner?

Where do you find a $2 liner? Is there a claw foot tub liner this size or could I use a couple regular liners?

Q: How large are the holes in the top?

Quite large when compared to those shower curtains with mere slits. I use a two-sided shower curtain hook ( one side for a liner, the other side for a curtain) and the metal grommet fits on easily.

Q: Is this cream or beige? The picture and heading say/imply "cream", but the description says "beige". Those are two completely different colors!

The cream color is not "off white" but a ivory (more yellow) color.

Q: Is the purple more of a plum, deeper purple, or is it very vivid and bright?

It's bolder and deeper than the reference image suggests. It's more like a royal purple. If you're looking for a muted plum then this ain't it.
