Awesome Knife!!!
Great knife! It’s been my EDC for over a year now. The blade holds its edge well and is easy to sharpen. I even used it to open a can of beans on a hiking trip—handled it with ease!

Knife
This is my everyday knife. Blade is a great size but becomes dull. Blade opens easily and locks in place without any play. Release button works great. Light weight, feels good in hand. Has been a very good edc knife.

A contender for the perfectly designed midsized knife
At this pricepoint, this knife is perfect, and I don't say that lightly. I would have preferred a liner lock just because a liner lock is a more proven design, but this button lock works perfectly after a month of use, so, no complaints. The blade profile, which is thin and essentially a full flat grind (technically, high sabre, but so high that it's virtually flat), makes any slicing task easy. Resharpening would be easy, but hasn't been necessary yet. 154CM steel was once called a super steel, and still has terrific properties for the price. And the handle is small yet sturdy and comfortable. Open and close are very smooth. Weight is super-light for as sturdily build as this knife is. I own more expensive knives but in this size range, right now this is the one I'm using because it's slimmer and lighter than the others, and seems just as capable.

Kizer brat has maintained it's sharpness over lots of use. Good quality & light in the pocket.

There's A Lot For Your Money Packed Into This Seemingly Unpretentious Design
This design is deceptively modest. looking but, at a second glance, highly unusual in the world of folding knives. A handle of very lightweight G10; one of the most durable non-metallic materials available. And being machined out of one piece, makes the handle simpler and stronger than conventional construction. The wide, flat-ground, 154CM blade is beautifully shaped for for all-around utility. Extensive scoring on the handle provides secure retention with any grip. There's an unusual amount of grooving on the back of the blade, as well. The button lock is well executed with no blade play in the open position. Button locks like this are probably the easiest of all to operate yet unlikely to release by accident. The flipper really snaps the blade open with authority. Lastly, the deep-pocket clip is non-magnetic so it's probably titanium and not the heavier stainless steel. This is an eminently handy knife for EDC which will should stand up to hard use for a long time.

Overall Poor Build Quality For The Price
Upon receiving, I removed this knife from the packaging and plastic sleeve to find small brass shaving on the handle. While inspecting the knife, I noticed there were two brass threaded inserts inside the handle where the pocket clip is attached. These were not fully pressed into the handle material. The knife is very lightweight and the handle texture allows for good grip where not covered by the pocket clip and on the opposite side. Blade deployment is not very snappy and requires more effort than it should to get the blade to lock into the open position. I'm not sure if this is due to poor weight balance or just the flipper design. On closing, when the blade lock button is depressed, the blade can fall toward the closed position with ease so make sure your fingers are not covering the handle opening. This knife was a disappointment compared to my Kiser Sheepdog.
