My 20-year-old son had this on his Amazon wish list. I purchased it, without him knowing, and he absolutely loved it! He's very musical and had done his research on this item. He knew exactly how to hook it up and get started with it. He has since hooked it up to his piano and guitar and has been using this talk box every day! It has encouraged him to write more music and collaborate with his friends. Because it distorts his voice, it is absolutely hilarious listening to him use it (he has no idea those outside his room can hear him)! So, it's actually entertaining for the whole family!

This talk box has its own amp built in, it fits easily into your pedal chain. Sounds great!

I bought this for my Son who is a guitar player as a Christmas present and he has had a lot of fun using this to create his own talking guitar as well as covers of "Living on a prayer" and "Do you feel like we do". I will say that it does take some tweaking on the EQ to get it dialed in. Out of the box, there is a lot of high end frequencies, which can make it some real "tiny" (if that's an actual word to describe it?). I would recommend if you are looking for a cool talking guitar effect. Just be prepared to spend some time getting used to it and dialing it in.
