The laptop is overall very great but I would like to talk about the pros and cons:Pros- the laptop performs great and thermals are good too I get 100 fps while playing Minecraft using Shaders using ultra setting. Good for every purpose it have a ryzen 7 7840hs and rtx 4060 what else do you expect it can Handel any task.Sound quality is great,display quality is greater with a 16.1 inch screen sizeCons:- it's battery drain very fast like 2hr with gaming it's a gaming laptop so keep that is mindThe camera was not as I expected it's quality is kinda low as per the priceOverall a great laptop for gaming and student purpose should buy around 1lakhs !

Pls don't purchase this type of items from any e commerce site, i recently brought hp omen laptop from amazon ,it's hinge was slightly tight after a few days the bezel stuck with the lower part of laptop due to manufacturing defects and got cracked, then I tried to contact with hp customer care but it all waist, their have no way to contact with hp customer care executives (THE WOREST SERVICE IN WORLD) then I contact with my city service centre the people sitting there was incompetent and irresponsible they told me to left the laptop for three days after that they told me that the defact covered in warranty or not after three day they told me that defect is payable and you have to pay for it they didn't know how much it cost and told me to wait for 5 days so that they got quotation form company after 7 days the send me a quotation of 21000/- for a small defect witch was occurred by a manufacturering defects not by accidental, neither saller nor amazon is taking any responsibility they directed to contact hp customer care, so pls don't purchase any hp products from any e commerce sites otherwise you'll be a victim like me and never got service from hp support, Neeraj jain

Amazing Laptop with powerful specs. Just keep in mind the overheating factor of the AMD chipset. I was unaware of it and the laptop reached 90+ degrees thinking a laptop normally reaches these temperatures during very heavy task. It ended up damaging the motherboard. Fortunately there was the one year onsite warranty from HP and their service was really great and they changed the necessary parts for free. Upon inspection it was found there was little to no thermal paste between heatsink and CPU GPU causing this overheating issue. And mind you this is withing first 6 months of normal to moderate usage.But do use thermal controlling applications to limit the temperature limit of the CPU and GPU during heavy tasks. And occasionally replace the thermal paste.The cooling system is good but not as good as it boasts to be about. The main highlight is the 165Hz display which is crisp and amazing. And Battery backup is pathetic, 80 something WHr battery can’t even last 3 hours after 7-8 months of use.This deserved 4 stars since the product quality, design , Display size and quality and specs it provided is really good for the price and the HP service it provided during critical times was really helpful.

"I purchased the HP Omen 16 laptop during the festival offer, I was thoroughly impressed. However, my excitement was short-lived as the laptop's screen went black with no display just three months into ownership.Fortunately, it's under warranty, so I contacted HP's service center. They promptly arranged for a service engineer to inspect the issue. The diagnosis revealed a dead screen requiring replacement.What's disheartening is that my 10+ year-old Lenovo laptop still functions flawlessly, whereas the HP Omen 16 developed this significant problem in just three months. If HP genuinely prioritizes customer satisfaction, they should consider replacing defective units with new ones, not just repairing them.

I have used this laptop for 1 half month it has lot of heating issues and due to the heating issue the display will stop working if your planing to buy this one please consider intel laptop and also has hing problem if you have already bought this laptop try under clocking the power this will increase the laptop heating issues by a bit
