Hope new hold up as well as the old.
Well I just ordered my second pair of these boots in 5 years. I originally bought them for my "winter rain" boot but they turned into my favorite boot ever and I have had a lot of boots. The first pair were made in China and there has been absolutely no issues with steady wearing. I saw that these were being discontinued and discounted all over the net and didn't want to miss out on having a second pair.It is discouraging to see some of the issues with these newer boots. I see they are now made in India and there are different patterns being used and variations in stitching. I actually had 3 - pair, 1 - my older pair and 2- newer and all three were made and stitched differently. I guess a sign of the times.I'm not retiring my old ones yet so the new is going on the shelf. So I guess this is not a valid review for the newer versions and I can only hope they hold up close to the older ones.Side note: over 3 - days the Amazon pricing went from $149 to $93, to $130. Go figure.

Great boots!
These boots are great. I loved them immediately out of the box. They run large which I appreciate but others may want to down size a 1/2 size. I also felt the need to treat the leather shortly after receiving them.

Durable and Dependable
Excellent. Well, put together, well crafted, and very comfortable. Definitely keep your feet dry. Worth the money. I work outside so these do wonders during the winter. Even that it’s worse in blizzards just keep some mink oil on them.

Great Winter Boot
These are just what I was looking for. You pay for what you get and even though these are a little more than I normally pay, they are well worth it. They keep my feet warm as long as I’m wearing a midweight sock. If I wear heavier my feet sweat and lighter my feet get a chill. I wear them about 10+ hours a day and changed out the insole after a couple weeks as the original seemed flat already. The grip I’ve had on the snow and ice has been great with minimal slipping. I love that I can pull them on and go and that they’re waterproof also. I wear a size 10.5 and they are true to size.

These shoes are very comfortable but do not last. The best pair of work boots I ever owned were Keen boots. That first pair lasted over two years. Everything keen I’ve bought after that is terrible. Not sure what happed to the company but it has really just gotten terrible. I’ve had three pairs since that first great pair and none have lasted even six months. It will never happen again, I will never buy keen products again. This last pair was delivered on January 25 and is is now April 23 and they are falling apart. Barely made 3 months. You’ve been warned.
