I liked that these were smaller, so better for younger children. Have only used them for one season, but they seemed to hold up nicely!

Great for kids - smaller than expected
These kickboards are well made, have great cut-out placement and my kids love them. The bottom half of all 3 is yellow and the top half has varying colors, which wasn't clear in the item description - but also doesn't really matter much to me. However, what does matter is that they are very much kid sized and are too small to support most adults. The photo I took shows them next to child-sized goggles for scale.The listing says they support up to 180 pounds if used correctly. I'm right around 200 pounds and one of these was nowhere close to holding me above water on its own - and that's with me putting my arms on it and holding on by where the cut outs are - which I assume is the correct use they refer to. Two of these will hold me up without any issue. I had my wife try one as well. I doubt she would want me posting her weight, but I can say she is well below 180 lbs and also didn't think it did a good job of keeping her afloat on its own. I don't see how one can hold up that much weight in any real-life situation.There were no issues for my 7 and 10 yr old kids. These kickboards are the perfect size for them and they had a lot of fun playing with them. I like to have lots of things that float for kids to be able to grab onto in my pool - especially if my kids have friends over as I never know how comfortable they are in the water. So I'm sure these will get a ton of use. If the description hadn't claimed they could hold more weight than they really can, they would be 5 stars.
