I noticed results immediately in my eyes, which got bigger and shinier. Nails got strong where they have ALWAYS been brittle and soft and peeling. . . Now they are strong as "nails". . . ha ha! :) But really, this mineral caused some real changes and I am sold. I take selenium because it is reportedly a benefit in the treatment of Prostate Cancer. I myself do not have cancer but I do suffer from BPH (enlarged prostate) and bouts of Prostatitis. As a result I do supplement with selenium. Does it help? Quite frankly can any of us actually say if any vitamin and mineral supplements are improving our health. What I can say, is that I have not gotten worse and not had any recent bouts of Prostatitis (I hope I'm not jinxing myself by saying that!) I opted for the Carlson product after reading positive reports of the Carlson brand.

It is a small, easy to swallow capsule. It is an essential element of the iodine protocol. First time trying this product. Will purchase again.

This is the first time I have purchased selenium in any form at all, and when you remove the cap from the bottle you immediately smell these, and they smell really bad. Even if I hold my breath while I put one into my mouth to swallow with water, I can still smell it. I will not buy this brand again, but I do not know whether other brands also smell this bad, since it is my first purchase of selenium.
