These Bic lighters are perfect for lighting your candles or your barbecue. The clicker on them is very easy to trigger. That's very important to me. The Orange one is the only one that bends so you can get stuff on the bottom without burning yourself. I really love these colors and will put them in every room. Definitely recommend them.

I have used these around the house for quite some time and find them handy, well-built (not fragile), and easy to light. It does take a little pressure (first with the thumb to release the gas, then with the index finger to pull the ignition trigger), but this also keeps the lighter from easily discharging the gas when you don't intend (such as when you store it in a drawer with every other quick-grab implement). The handle is not stick-thin, like some lighters I've used in the past. A thin handle also makes starting the lighter more difficult. There is a view window to check the level of fluid in the lighter. The flame is over an inch long (good pressure) on this BiC. Some generic lighters barely manage half that. There is also a metal clip that pivots from the base of the grip that allows the lighter to easily hang from a hook or nail, keeping it handy by the grill or wherever you might need to suspend it.I don't usually see a review as the best place to comment on a vendor, but I think it may help prospective purchasers for me to do so here. I recently ordered this four pack for holiday candle lighting. I was disappointed to receive four loose lighters that were placed in a bubble pack by Las Vegas World Famous Brand Center. This does not match the description (picture or words) of the product beyond "4 lighter" (sic). While the vendor may have saved money by sending a part of a bulk package (as I have no other explanation for the lack of commercial packaging), either the savings or a notice of this being a bulk product could have been passed on to the potential buyer. The lack of packaging makes storing a pair (as I had planned) a little more problematic since the packaging virtually prevents the accidental discharge of the lighters. I need the lighters for an imminent holiday candle lighting so I won't have time to return them--but I would not quickly trust this vendor again.

Bic has been around forever. Still make a quality lighter. A little hard to pull back the safety lever and then light, but I suppose it has to be that way so a little kid can't accidently light up the house. I'll continue to buy them.

The media could not be loaded. I got 4 different colors in the set. Tropical blue, deep blue, slime green, and a medium gray. The end hooks seem pretty handy to hang the lights up. One bendy tip is a nice utility for odd places like lighting my portable grill. The Bendy tip comes in at 6 inches while the 3 straight tips are 4.75 inches. I’m sure most people are wondering how hard is the push to light it? We’ll I’d clock it in at a medium firm push to light the unit. The flame is a nice size and steady, so I believe in the lighter’s performance. The price seems a touch high for four lighters, but the quality feels like it matches up. We’ll see is the durability holds over time.
