Once installed, these function very well, look good, and are really sturdy. Obviously cutting the mortise in your door takes a steady hand and a tool appropriate for the job. I cut into pocket doors without dismounting them, which makes the operation a little more difficult. If I recall, these ended up kind of pressure fitting into the mortise and then secured with a couple screws. The floor plate is also best recessed and looks really good when fit well.

Mortised the door to accept them, and they look great. Obvious door modification is required if no existing mortise pockets, but once installed, the door feels strong, the bolts are long enough to not need to raise the threshold, it looks clean and it feels very secure.Respectfully,Nathan Evans

Seems sturdy and was not hard to install. Serves its purpose well. My only complaint is that the lever is hard to pull. I have to pry it up with a tool to open or close.

Easy to install if you have the tools.I was surprised/impressed with the overall design and durability.

I have 2 pairs of 10-14 year old French doors on the back of the home I just purchased. The cheap friction based plastic slides had cracked/failed and otherwise looked like they were on their last leg from years of brutal Florida sun and the pins were rusting from the salt air. These stainless steel assemblies effectively were direct replacements although they install differently then the originals. The originals that were still intact required the dooe be removed to get them to slide out, otherwise they stopped at the floor. These go in from the side and can be installed with the door in situ.The units were ever so slightly thicker and were sitting a little proud of the door frame. A little sanding/tweaking was needed on the tighter door set. The other set fit just fine. I needed to drill larger pin holes as these are a bigger diameter. Once installed, they look great, work even better and was so glad they were dimensionally near perfect in most respects. 2 mm less deep and I wouldn't have had one issue. Highly recommend.

I remember this type of hardware from years ago in a rental unit we had. It was hard to find these anywhere. I always love it when I can find something on Amazon that is no longer commonly available, and at a great price.

Okay. I love that it’s flush, however some have said theirs came with instructions and mine didn’t. I had to chisel it out. I first tried with a jigsaw which was an absolute terrible idea, which can see that top two inches looks terrible. Decided to go in with a chisel for the rest and that worked well. As far as mechanical review, it is a great product. But unless you have experience with a chisel then maybe try something else. My door is solid wood which was very helpful.

The media could not be loaded. I bought this to keep one of my double doors in place. It did do the job, but 1 of them came off track when I was trying to latch into the frame. The other one worked exactly as expected, after I found the proper placements using the first one. I’m using it for an interior door. Not quite sure if I would use it for an exterior door. Feels pretty sturdy for my interior door.
