Highly recommended
Very comfortable to use and very quiet ( don't make the clicking noise ). The real plus for me is that they are collapsible so fit in the back of my mini, whereas standard crutches are too long. Lightweight and strong.

These are like another pair of legs
Superb. I bought these as I walk up to 10Km on crutches. These are like another pair of legs. Solid, quiet and very comfortable.Yes, there is a slight problem - as they do not have wraparound for your arm but a quick bit of sewing of a piece of elastic strapping soon sorted that out. I have had them 6 weeks and have worn ferrules out as walked so far on them. Hand grip is perfect, get a pair of cycling gloves and off to go!! Job done. Excellent bit of kit to get out and about.

Avoid
The ergonomic grips are very painful on my thumbs. The arm braces do not wrap around enough, so they keep falling off unless you are holding on at all times (which you are not always, e.g. when swiping an oyster card, using a sink, taking money out, etc etc.). Good idea being fold-able, but definitely needs improvement.

May not always be suitable
Not suitable for many users due to the fact that the arm holder does not hold the crutch when an arm is lifted. It just falls off.

Much better than NHS crutches.
I've been using these crutches over a year now. For me, the biggest appeal was that they fold. I rarely fold them twice (you can fold them in half, and also remove the bottom adjustable part in order to make them fold down smaller), but folding them just the once helps greatly. Getting my NHS ones in the car boot could be a pain, these just pop in half and go in without a problem. They are open cuff, whereas NHS provided ones are closed. This means they won't stay attached to your arm if you're using your hands. I tend to balance my elbow on top of the cuff whilst I do this so that they don't go crashing to the ground - although I'm happy to say they've survived numerous bounces with barely a scratch! If this isn't for you, I'd suggest looking at closed cuff crutches. They don't click when you walk (unlike the NHS ones) which is quite lovely.I've got problems with my hands and find the anatomical grip to be a lot more comfortable. I was fortunate enough to try this out at a local mobility store *before* purchasing though, as I wasn't sure about it. The grip allows me to spread more of the load into my palms. The only complaints I can level at them is that I'm not a fan of the reflectors (I covered mine with some black tape in the end and haven't thought about them since), and that they are an absolute pain to store in the bags they came with - to the point I no longer bother. All in all, I have no regrets about buying these, and much prefer them over the NHS ones!

Looks and feels like a quality product and actually quite nice to hold
Purchased this for my mother recovering from her hip surgery. Solid build quality. Looks and feels like a quality product and actually quite nice to hold. Worth the comparatively big price tag.

I already owned a pair of the non folding type and love them, these are excellent for carrying on the back of my wheelchair and mobility scooter in a bag as they are much shorter when folded and do not drag on the floor. Traditional crutches leave me with sores and calloused skin on my hands within days these type I have used for two years and have no problems, yes they are expensive but for someone who uses them everyday they are fabulous. I will add that they are a little stiff to fold initially as there is a button to push in, and have to be pulled to fold so if you have difficulty indoing these kinds of movements they might not be for you, but they dont have to be folded everytime you use them
