Great Hobby fun.
Really fun game system. Got this around the holidays to play with friends and family. Enjoyed building and painting everything up. The Sculpts and art in this bundle are amazing. A refreshing break from Warhammer.

Good
Good box with good minis and it came fast. Also just a lot of character and Terran for the price point.

A huge upgrade in models
So this review is strictly about the models included since I've never played the game. I had the initial starter box and while I liked the models, some a bunch, I found at least half of them hard to assemble (looking at you Zemo, Captain Marvel, and Ultron). This set, however, AMG has made the models much easier to build without sacrificing the quality of the sculpts. I have yet to build the terrain but the cars seem to be the same ones as the Core Set.Overall it is a great starting point and maybe some day I will be able to say I've played the game and can update my review accordingly.

Better than the original?
I'm in love with the new core box, despite it's price increase over the original. A quick comparison shows you get more terrain, more models, bigger tokens, new measuring tools, and a bigger box for storage! The models this box comes with are also a huge improvement over the original core boxes models, not saying they were bad but these new models are so beautiful and are so much easier to put together. The price can seem a bit steep especially to newcomers but if that's your main worry just wait for a sale or discount. Would recommend to both new and returning players!

Great update to the original core box
Great game, great sculpts, great characters. This is basically a "1.5" edition of the MCP core box. It comes with updated versions of the original core box characters (who are still useable, as these versions have different names) and a couple extra characters that introduce mechanics (minions, transforming) that were introduced after the original core box was released.Newly revied components are nice, as are the new square tokens that are easier to understand what they represent.Highly suggested!!

Good game with detailed miniatures! But VERY expensive.
Pros: Very well made game rules with highly detailed miniatures.Cons: Very easy to break small parts of the miniatures. Have to buy strong super glue to put them together. If you break a part of the miniature that you can't put back together, you can't find a replacement anywhere else on Amazon. Paint costs a lot of extra money (about $80 depending on which paint set you want to buy). Glueing them can be hard and can give you a headache if you don't have a ventilated area.Biggest Con: The price of all of the expansions. I did the math and if you want to buy every single Marvel Crisis Protocol Expansion (with roughly estimated shipping price) It will cost you about $3,000 dollars. Not $300 or $30, $3,000! The base set is a very good price ($100) but everything else WILL be EXPENSIVE.P.S. Do NOT buy the Hulk expansion, the pieces will NEVER fit together properly and you will have to fill in the holes if you buy it.
