Trying to find a Toughbuilt pouch that will carry my speed square without it falling out every time I bend over. Would this work?

You're gonna want the contractor pouch. It has a metal hammer loop on the side and a speed square pocket.

Does it work with ridget 18v impact without keeping trigger down?

Probably. Because the pocket is a big rigid triangle, when the flat top of the tool is against one wall, there's a big open space around the trigger. Works great with all my drills and drivers.

Will this fit a Roybi 18v impact driver?

Yes, definitely. It fit an ancient DeWalt cordless drill. Not sure id recommend this particular one if you own an updated Milwaukee or Makita drill as the 18v are small for the holster. Toughbuilts smaller holster maybe better for those models. Ryobi should fit nice and snug! I recommend it
