Quite Bland
I was looking forward to a full flavoured tasty Dal but was disappointed as it lacked any flavour and was bland. Having a medium spice label I expected it to stand up to that but it failed. It drfinitely needs more spices to make it an interesting and enjoyable Dal curry. The pouch portion is a good main meal for 1 or a side dish for 2.
