Chubb Lock Replacement.
I found that my front door had a mortice lock but no keys and it had not been used (at least since I moved in 10 years ago!) I took out the lock and searched on line and found this lock which looked very similar. I bought it.It arrived quickly and fitted perfectly into the door so took very little time to fit. Lock works well and I now feel very secure.

Door closes quietly
This lock seemed strong and sturdy. My joiner fitted it no problem and the door now closes so smoothly and quietly. Looks good quality. Came with three keys which was handy. I also had a Yale fitted, but I always lock the door on this Union lock to give me better security. Would recommend

Exactly as advertised and arrived quick! Nice people at the shop too!

Contents not checked before despatch
The package failed to contain a key component, - the door frame lock plate into which the snib has to fit. The box containing the lock appeared to have been opened before dispatch. Return of the faulty item will incur postal charges it seems.Upped to 5 stars for replacing the missing keep so promptly.Great service, and a good product

Replacement so fitted fine.

Good lock (replacement for earlier Chubb model)
A direct replacement for my earlier Chubb mortice lock, although the bolt and plate for the frame were larger, and so the hole in the door frame needed to be made a little larger.

Direct replacement for Chubb deadlock
Great price for a direct replacement for my old Chubb (No longer selling locks) deadlock.New BSA standards meant I had to chip away at the door frame to fit the new, larger stay, but no modifications to the door where necessary.Good price too, nearly half the price of my local DIY Store!
