Quality J-Beauty based product, but unsure where it’s manufactured
Overall: 5 stars (excellent) - This is a very good product with a long list of quality ingredients. I’d really like to know for certain where the product is manufactured in order to give this my full recommendation, but even lacking that, I still consider this more of a 5 star product than a 4 star one.Individual ratings:Ingredients: excellent - A good list of ingredients that check out as safe according to EWG. The product is Silicone Free, Sulphate Free, Phthalate Free, Artificial Color Free, Paraben FreeQuality: above average - Shinbi beauty is a US based company that sources their key ingredients from Japan and is 99% naturally derived. No indication of where the product is manufactured.Note: Given the lack of testing requirements for cosmetics, and the often unsubstantiated claims for efficacy, I typically evaluate them based primarily on ingredients and quality. There are simply too many individual variables to determine how it’ll work on each person. Prices can fluctuate, so I leave it to the buyer to determine value.

Made my skin feel smooth!
Shinbi Beauty is a brand I've had a positive experience with before so I was very eager to try their face wash after a successful attempt with their moisturiser. I've also never used a watery face wash before so this was a new experience for me. All I can say is wow!My skin is so smooth and feels very clean after only a few uses! It's gentle enough for my skin and I find the smell is very mild and grassy. The ingredients are very clearly listed on the packaging and the flip top bottle made application onto a cotton swab easy for cleansing purposes. I find this face wash doesn't foam very much but it's definitely deep cleaning because my skin felt squeaky afterwards!Definitely give this a try if you're looking to venture into J-Beauty brands!

Gentle
My 81 year old mom turned me on to rice water cleansers and toners a year or so ago. She first tried them in Japan and loved them. My skin is similar; old, delicate, and dry. This stuff is super gentle. For me, it's as gentle as using plain micellar water. It cleanses well, rinses clean, and causes zero irritation. Also, it's loaded with antioxidants to help protect my skin from free radicals that destroy collagen. At my age, I need to hold on to all the collagen I can! Other ingredients help sooth, soften, and smooth my skin. This also comes in a perfect size for travel.

Alcohol and Sake Extract can Burn Sensitive Skin
I didn't realize that this face wash had alcohol in it when I ordered it. I have extremely sensitive skin and alcohol aggravates my skin. The combo of alcohol and sake extract made my skin very dry and peel after only one use. It made my skin clean and exfoliated it, but unfortunately, I won't be able to continue use.

gentle K Beauty cleanser
This is a gentle K beauty cleanser with a very light/minimal scent. To be honest, it was hard to get a "scent" much at all, I can smell a slight sake scent. I would prefer having little to no scent to save on having extra stuff in the cleanser to be honest. I am not sure if I've used a product with sake extract before - this could be hard on some sensitive skin but no issue for me.After using this for a handful of days, I feel like it does a good job cleansing, feels light and pleasant during and after cleaning on the skin, and the biggest plus is the list of ingredients doesn't terrify me nearly as much as other big beauty brands I've used. One thing about packaging/product info: it is not very clear as to where the origin is or where manufacturing is taking place.
