The media could not be loaded. I wanted a fountain that excelled in both looks and sound. The sound is not just a waterfall sound it’s more like a tinny trickle sound. 3-stars at best. Looks is also 3 stars. To keep it from splashing too much they strategically place some foam padding to reduce splash. It works well, but if you do plan on inside there is still some drops of splash. Definitely not carpet or wood friendly. I wouldn’t buy it again and it will be recycled when I get tired of it. I don’t really regret buying it. It does give me ideas on how to improve on the concept (ie circular steps down) but I can get a water splash sound and contain the splatter. Now just need the time to make it.

This fountain is beautiful and tranquil. However, it was a little splashy when I received it, even with the pump set on the lowest setting. I installed it in my living room, so splashing was not an option. I took the hose to the hardware store and bought a valve for it. I installed it and slowed the flow a little more. Now it sounds and looks beautiful without splashing. I even installed micro lights for a little more fun. And, yes, it comes with ugly black sponges glued to it with silicone. I ripped them off and did some surgery to remove the silicone. They are there to help with the splashing, but I no longer need them. Also. eased a couple of the leaves into better position to make more beautiful flow. This must be done very carefully, don't want to break off.With a little patience, creativity and a little fluffing(like a faux-Christmas tree) it is well worth the investment.Overall, very beautiful and very nice fountain. I have it on a timer so it entertains me every evening.Definitely 7 feet tall! And delivered in 3 days!!! 2 Boxes, 1 about a 2 foot cube(the base, kind of heavy) and 1 about 7 feet long, 2 feet square, light weight but awkward. Arrived with big box kind of beaten but styro packing was in tack.

This is a piece of crap. Mine came bent up and rusted. The plating on it was pealing off since it was made so cheap. My wife really wanted it, but not now.

I purchased the fountain six months ago was happy when it arrived 6 months later it's rusted everywhere which at first I considered part of the charm but it's rusted so bad that the welds are rusting and the water no longer will come out the top it squirts out the bottom. If you need something for more than 6 months steer clear

Cheaply made poor quality

Sometimes it is a bit of a gamble purchasing a product like this without actually seeing the real thing but we took a gamble - and it paid off. This fountain is EVERYTHING advertised - it is tall (which is what we wanted), made of metal, has a beautiful "patina" appearance and most of all, it looks great when water is cascading down to each "leaf." Easy to set up and easy to adjust if need be - simply and carefully "massage" each leaf position as needed. We have it running from daylight until about midnight (via a timer). Very high quality - I would definitely recommend Design Toscano products to anyone.This is more than a fountain, it is a piece of art!

I was so excited to get this fountain for my sunroom, but ended up returning it.The pros:-Beautiful in person.-Solid construction.-Included pump runs well.The cons:-Sprayed with silver paint that flakes off easily and everywhere; it was endless!- The bottom leaf/ cup that flows into the drain is misaligned causing a lot of water to miss the drain, and spill out onto the floor. (This could not be easily corrected without risk of breaking the leaf/cup.)For the money and lack of quality control this was disappointing.
