I bought the MOMAN MT12 for some video work at home, and overall, it’s been a solid addition to my setup.Durability: The materials feel sturdy, especially the glass and frame. It doesn’t feel cheap or flimsy.Functionality: Works well with my smartphone and DSLR. The text scrolls clearly, and the glass reflection is sharp without distortion.Ease of Use: Assembly was straightforward. The included instructions are clear, and setup only took a few minutes.Comfort: Lightweight and compact, easy to mount and adjust without hassle.Quality: The reflective glass is surprisingly good for the price. The included remote works reliably too.Possible Issues: The phone clamp could be a bit more secure, especially with larger phones. Also, it may not fit some wide-angle lenses without vignetting.

I bought this to use for some short videos I'm making. I was able to get the app running on an iPad without a problem. Contrary to other reviewers, I was able to save a script in the Notes program and then cut and paste it into the Moman app.Remote connected and works fine.I was able to set up the teleprompter on a tripod without too much difficulty.The only criticism is on the blackout cloth. It is hard to get it to stay attached and positioned properly. Sometimes it drops down in front of the lens. It's a bit of a pain.Overall I'm pretty happy. I use it regularly and it does what I need it to do.

It is a well built product and the customer service is outstanding. They reply quickly and stand behind their products.

Amigos he recibido el equipo. Es de calidad pero no logro que la aplicación Moman responda al Control Remoto. La tengo instalada en una tablet 12 LENOVO. La tablet detecta al control remoto por bluetooth; cuando le indico a la aplicación "detectar dispositivo" se queda un rato haciendo ese trabajo; no obstante, si vuelvo al menú principal la opción "detectar dispositivo" ya no aparece, lo que hace pensar que si lo detectó, pero no responde a ninguno de los botones. ¿Habrá venido fallado el control remoto o será un error de software?

I can't believe I waited this long to get a teleprompter. The screen is massive and crystal clear - no more squinting at tiny text! My videos look so much more professional now that I'm not constantly looking down at notes. Setup was surprisingly easy too.

Way to heavy and bulky

The companies these days are so "bait and switch". Its a good thing Amazons return policy has never let me down. They start with something great then slowly start degrading quality and raising prices... its not a business model build on integrity but rather built on business... and the consumer pays the price for everything.The initial reviews I saw on this teleprompter showed that it worked well with iPhones in horizontal and vertical shooting modes. They also showed a much more innovative phone attachment as well... which absolutely led me to buy this. HOWEVER, when I got the MT12 they had changed the phone attachment to a much more simple style (and cheap as heck too) and it did not work at all with my iPhone 13 pro max. When I notified the company no one responded. Its sad too because they do have something nice here...The MT12 looked great with my iPhone 10XR as the reader using "Promtsmart Pro" (39.00 on app store) and im certain you will like it when using a mirrorless camera.. but once again, if you are buying this to use your phone as the recorder it will not work. Moman needs to step it up or they will miss a huge part of the market share to brands like Elgato. Honestly, I would've paid 180.00-200.00 for the MT12 if it would have worked well with my phone because after getting it all set up it sure looked sweet... and the carrying case that comes with it will be nice to have for sure.If I had a mirrorless camera I would probably buy this again because these types of prompters do not need anything but a reading device, like a spare phone or iPad ect... which means you can take it anywhere.
