Q: How tall to where it folds down and meets the bedside?

The bedside bassinet has 3 positions for the side rail to adjust as lowest, middle and highest as following: 1. Lowest position 18.11'' 2. Middle position 23.03'' 3. Q: Does a baby matrress fit with this bassinet?

I purchased as a gift for a baby shower. It was specifically requested by the mother. Baby hasn't been born yet.

Q: Bedside bassinet weight limit?

Qutanix Bedside Bassinet has 2 modes of use as Bassinet & Playard. Bassinet mode: newborn to 15lbs, Playard mode: infants under 35 inches and 30lbs. Use as playard: Discontinue use of the product when child is able to climb out or reaches the height of 35 inches(890 mm) or weighs more than 30 lbs.(13.6 kg), whichever comes first. Use as bassinet: To prevent falls, stop using the product when infant - begins to push up on hands and knees OR - begins to pull up on product sides (approximately 5 months) - begins to roll over OR has reached 15 lbs, whichever comes first.
