Rock solid. It just works. Had to be on tight but this thing is great.Shows lites or gallons per minute as well as total flow. I use it on my 2" diameter swimming pool plumbing.I can see if there is enough flow for the salt chlorine generator (I am using a variable speed pump). I can also use the total flow see how may times a day my total pool has been filtered.Not sure why this device is not standard installation on all pool systems.Incredible value for the money.I had a tech question and reached out through Amazon messaging. Got a very helpful answer within a day.Good stuff :)

It works as intended and seems to be accurate.

The manufacturer claims that this Digital Turbine Fuel Flow Meter is suitable for diesel, kerosene, and gasoline. There was a sticker on the box it came in stating: “Attention: Because the flowmeter is actually tested by our quality inspectors before it leaves the factor, there is a small amount of diesel on the flow meter, which is normal and does not affect normal use” This aluminum bodied meter weighs 14.1 oz with its included 1” to ¾” adapter bushings, and 12.5 oz without them. The reducer bushings include an O-ring, which should make it easier to prevent leakage once properly tightened. Be careful not to overtighten because cast aluminum housings are notoriously easy to crack.This claimed range of this flow meter is flow range is 5-100 L /Min (1.32- 26.42 Gal/Min). The unit can be set to display in liters, gallons, pints, or quarts, though the “User Manual” primarily covers calibration and is a bit sketchy on other settings. To change units, press and hold the Calibrate and Display keys simultaneously until the display changes (easier said than done), then you can switch between liters, gallons, quarts and pints by pressing the Display key repeatedly until you get to the desired volume units. Once set it to the conventional gallons for US use, it will remember the setting until you repeat the change process again. The unit that I received powers down after approximately 10 minutes of no flow or button presses, which helps to save on battery and display life. I like this better than some others that shut down after 2 minutes, which sometimes is not long enough.The meter is lightweight enough to mount adjacent the dispensing spout nozzle to give a reading while dispensing. Note that the cast aluminum body has no provisions for mounting to any type of support. The cast body of the meter has only an inlet and outlet opening which reduces potential leaks; the electronics are completely separated from the fluid flow. The meter’s internal flow turbine (see picture) generates an inductive signal which passes through the one-piece cast body to a sensor. Because of this, the unit cannot be located close to the fuel pump or motor because the magnetic fields generated by them would interfere with the sensor in the meter.Since this flow meter will measure up to 26 GPM and 290 psi (20 Bar), it is ideally suited for most fuel dispensing applications. The unit has a solid, hefty feel that should hold up to the rigors of farm use. The electronics unit, being separate from the fluid passage, can easily be separated from the cast aluminum housing (by the removal of four small screws), without any risk of fuel spillage, in order to change the batteries, or even replace the entire electronics unit, as necessary. Overall, this meter seems to perform the basic necessary functions, showing instantaneous and total flow in your desired units. Time will tell how well this inexpensive flow meter holds up, but it provides good functionality for the money and should make refueling machinery easier.

The display has stopped working and there is now corrosion in the electronics. It is an outside unit on my porch so could get humidity but has never been in the rain or water. In fairness I have 2 of these and the other one works perfect, This one was poorly assembled at manufacturing and moisture has gotten into it.

I don't know how long it will last, but it's been about two days and it's accurate! The only regret is that it doesn't have a waterproof function...ㅠ

This flow meter was installed on my DIY diesel fuel polisher that moves a bit under 2 GPM. it works well and is a good value.

The casing is very brittle, it cracked while installing and I didn't notice until I turned on the fuel pump. I had a fuel spill. Waiting for a new meter to arrive.The display was very dim and had to have the correct angle to read the screen.Will update the review when the new unit arrives.
