Nice jacket
Love this jacket normally I will have to return and get different sizes because they don’t fit right but this one is just right the fit the weight material is great and it don’t hold you back in the arms like some jackets and the quality is great

Sleeves are wide and roomy BY DESIGN
Giving 5 stars because the jacket overall quality and purposeful construction is a great bang for your buck.No 'loose-thread' problems as reported by others. Some complain of its roomy sleeves; however, it's not a design flaw. This insulated jacket is targeted for manual labor as is the costlier Dickies' version. This is the jacket to buy if your arms require a generous and comfortable range of motion--function over form.

Great over-all fit; plenty warm-- but sleeves too big
Okay this is a very nice quality jacket. And plenty warm. I got the grey and it looks great.Over-all good sizing too. I am 6-0 and a bulky 285 with lots of muscle and the 2XL fits very well. I can wear it over just a t-shirt or fit a hoody under it also when it's really cold.Sizing good EXCEPT THE SLEEVES. And I don't have skinny arms. 18" biceps and 14" forearms but the sleeves are just too big around-- especially from the elbows down. Took it to a tailor to taper the sleeves from the elbow down and shorten them an inch or so. [Turns out that'll cost me $35.] That said, it's worth it b/c it's a great looking jacket with serious warmth. Also, I don't have any of the hanging threads that other reviewers are talking about. Hey Red Kap-- tighten up the sleeves a bit, add a loop inside for hanging on a hook when not in use, and you will have produced the perfect jacket!!

Pretty good
It's pretty good but I miss the inside pocket.

Best lightweight jacket you can buy.
This is the best lightweight jacket you can buy. The best at being light but keeping your warm. Most automotive shops have this jacket with their logo/badge on it and their uniform color. This jacket could use an inside pocket or two, but that's not a legitimate reason to complain. This jacket is good for work and for casual wear. It resists dust and oil better than any other jacket I have tried. It also looks great when washed and washes easily in the washer. It is a polyester blend, so it does not shrink. Like all clothes, I wash before wearing, and I recommend you do for this because it will soften the cotton portion of the material. It also will remove any chemical smells to make the jacket obviously smell better. I could sleep in this jacket it is that comfortable. I cannot recommend this jacket enough. If it had inside pockets, then this would be the perfect jacket. I would even wear it in the summer for my EDC if it had inside pockets.

Decent, not perfect
For the price, it isn’t bad….It’s not a perfect product, loose threads, hard to zip, a bit awkward fitting in places. It looks really nice when zipped, the pockets are small but doable. I threw it in the wash as soon as I got it because it smelled straight from a factory, but one wash seemed to make it a little more wearable.

7 years proof of being a good jacket
I received my first jacket at my job. 7 years of being my go to jacket, it has been great spring and fall. Winter time on top of a nice hoodie and thermal shirt, you're good to go.Not overly thick but that's what I like most. It is still plenty warm and blocks wind and light rain. It is comfortable enough to become my cats favorite nap spot so I'll take her word on that. For 7 years of use, I still use it, have only had to replace 2 plastic buttons over the years, both on right sleeve which I use more, so that's understandable. Plenty of other buttons on jacket you don't really need so use one of those for the important one if it breaks. I wash it in washing machine and dry in dryer, nothing fancy just throw it in with other clothes. It is actually remarkable how well it has held up, which inspired me to order my own without the work insignia or my name sewn on. And in a color I wanted. I checked the label on my work coat, saw Red Kap, and started my Amazon search to find the right one (slash pocket jacket) I already knew a large fit me perfect (6' 0" 165lbs) and honestly the price was about 1/3 of what I expected, as it has outlasted way pricier jackets (Carhartt). Only improvement would be a zipper pocket on the inside since slash pockets have a habit of spilling my phone but I can work around that. Redd Kap has gained a faithful fan, may not buy too much since they last so long, but will recommend to anyone anytime. Heck, look at the photos, blue is 7 years old and grey is my new one. Almost no difference after A LOT of use.
