I'm always relying on reviews to decide if a product is worth it then I forget to write one.This is a great lock at half the cost of name brand ones like kryptonite. And it's smaller in depth than the Halfords one which couldn't fit in my old second hand mountain bike. This lock has instructions on how to store it on the bike. Different options.

First time I've brought one of these so nothing to compare but feels pretty heavy duty and strong to me. Nothing will stop a determined thief with bolt cutters and grinders unfortunately but I'm hopeful that my local towns and surrounding areas are safe 'ish from this kind of behaviour. I also like the steel cable included so you can keep your wheels and seat safe, i have quick release levers always a worry. All in all i think its a good lock as long as you don't regularly leave the bike in the same place for long periods of time. Good luck fellow cyclists.

Feeling solid and worth the money

I absolutely love this whole bike lock set. The D-lock is very sturdy with a thick frame & large key. I seldomn use the long wire wheel cord for short journeys but its def a bonus, good addition. THE PRICE WAS THE ONLY STEAL, HERE. Im Very Happy.

I like the fact that the clamp comes with a bracket that attaches to the saddle part of the bike frame and releases with the press of a button to facilitate ease of carrying the clamp. Easy to lock the bike safely.

Seems secure for the price

The U lock is not long enough to lock with bigger and wider poles. it states 16mm in diameter but it doesn't look like it, more 14mm. The padlock head is also quite wide, when I put it on my hybrid bike bar, it rubs my leg.

Works exactly as it should. Bring a backpack with you if you own a surron. Happy with it

Lock, cable, keys and holders included. Soft plastic covered cable won't scratch and easy to feed through frame, tire, and around a pole. My frame is too thick for the mount but was able to attach to the seat stem.Further, I don't even need to take the lock off the holder. Just unlock it, feed the cable around where I need it and back onto the lock. Working out great and should take anyone a little time to get through it.Seems to by a good value for what I got and a little piece of mind.

I was looking for something a little lighter than a U-lock, but almost as strong. This is it. And bonus: it allows more flexibility in lock-ups. The holster works great, except for one small disappointment. The velcro straps for the holster have a very nice rubber contact side for your bike frame so the holster stays in place, but the velcro is only on one small part of the strap so they only work with a regular size tube. I had hoped to attach it to the underside of my down tube, but my down tube is a little bigger and while the straps are certainly long enough to wrap around the tube, the velcro does not extend to the end of the straps and does not work for a wider tube. I don't understand why they didn't include more velcro so it would work on wider tubes or why they include these longer straps with no functional reason to be that long. Maybe I got a defective holster without the velcro that should have been along the end of the straps. But it just means I have to attach the holster to my seat tube instead. No biggie.

For this price, I think this is a GREAT deal on a very solid, cleverly designed U-lock.Even some of the better-known name-brand U-locks I've owned have seemed surprisingly loose when locked. This SIGTUNA lock doesn't move or rattle a bit when it's locked, which indicates to me that it's very precisely, solidly designed.The locking mechanism is impressive, too. The locking pattern of the keys is actually recessed into their _sides_ rather than cut along its edges (see photo), rendering traditional lock-picking methods useless. (You get three of these special keys—which you won't want to lose, because I doubt any local locksmith can copy them.)After inserting the key, you turn it only about 1/8" and the bolt pops out on its own, so you needn't wrestle to remove it while holding the key in an "unlock" position. And while the bolt is free, the key is held in the lock, so you needn't worry about it coming out while you're putting the bolt in position. When you're ready to lock up, you press the bolt back in (click!) and pull the key out—it couldn't be easier.The square bolt looks more modern and secure than the traditional round one, too. (I don't know if square bolts are actually tougher, but they sure look that way!)The only potential negative is that it doesn't include a mounting bracket—so you'll either be carrying it in your backpack, or securing it to your vehicle yourself (e.g. with bungee cords). But this seems like a small inconvenience for such a great product at such a down-to-Earth price.Finally, because it has a shorter bolt, you'll want to be sure you have locking locations it will reach. On the plus side, the shorter the bolt, the less accessible it is to people trying to cut it—so I think that finding places it'll reach will be worth your trouble. Cheers!

Se ve muy robusto y de buen material. El diámetro de la U es bastante grueso. Pesa bastante pero su doble cierre se ve seguro. Lo recomiendo para bicicleta o patinete.
