A ANIDEES Aluminum Pi case for Raspberry Pi 5 – Black (AI-PI5-BB)

Surprised to see super quality of this case. I was able to install my pi 5 with my nvme top hat ssd.Caution! This is a very tight fit, so take your time! Had to replace standoffs for gender fit, also had to remove nvme heat sink. I was able to put it together with no stand-offs on top lid. It runs good with some over clocking, but not to the max, and outside case feels warm to the touch. I installed the Raspberry pi 5 first with attaching cable on the pi and connected the hat after. It was tricky but doable. So if I can do it, (pushing 80 shaking hands etc) anybody can.

This case is an excellent case for the Raspberry Pi 5. There is room for the official Pi cooler in there, which is highly recommended. Make sure to put the button in before the Raspberry Pi 5, (because you may as well benefit from my experience)... and take your time inserting the board with the cooler. Insert straight from above and then once in you can slide the board a little one way or the other if necessary to line up the screw holes.There are separate indents in the bottom for the supplied rubber feet, which is an excellent touch. I have long ago learned that you don't want to stick the feet over the screw holes and then need to open the case later, like you know, to put the power button in... Simply not a problem here!I'm ordering a couple more to have handy for other Pi projects!

Very well-made case with high quality metal, and very easy to assemble as well. I also have an Anidees case for Pi 4B, but I think the Pi 5 one is a lot better. Will try to install a cooler as well and see if it fits :)
