Messy but fun. We put a trash bag on the table to help with cleanup. Kids enjoyed them. And kept them busy for a bit.

Difficult for kids
Eggs are not easy to get apart. We would have to take a steak knife to get the egg started then give it to our daughter and it was pretty messy but that’s to be expected.

So cute! Definitely took some work for a couple of four year olds to chip away at the eggs. Putting them in water helped. We put a large cloth out to help catch the mess and that worked well, since none of the material can go down the drain. Kids had fun!

the kids have had a blast with these. just be sure to use outside, the powder can be harmful if inhaled!

Messy and fun
My kids love this! It’s hard enough that they’ve spread the project out for weeks keeping them busy. The sand makes a mess though
