Does exactly what it says - really easy to use

These won't soundproof a room on their own, but are great for reducing echo noises in an office for teleconferencing or recording.Easy to stick on a wall with the self adhesive backing and look smart enough to be made into a feature.

Unfortunately the product has no substance or real structure, it is extremely paper thin.It has absolutely no sound absorption whatsoever.When I tried to remove the self adhesive backing paper the product was so weak that it tore.Definitely not what was expected and no value.

the adhesive that they come with it's weak and barely stick to anything. It advertises being 3cm thick, it's barely 2 at the highest point. It's foam, so it does help mitigating reflections anyway, but it's not really as advertised.

I don't know why so many people have an issue with these. Peel the back, stick it on the wall. It's not to remove sound, it's to stop echo.

Now, whilst this pack won't do an entire room or even a whole wall - it's a good starting point. You get 12 panels for less than £20, which is quite a bargain and although it's not enough for the entire room, you do notice a difference with the 12 you do get. I used these in my gaming room (as I like to have the sound up quite loud) and my other half already noticed a difference with these being up! Being in the room you can tell the sound has been dampened too. The adhesive seems strong enough and so far so good. If you really wanted a sound proof room, then getting this packs wouldn't be completely expensive and I'd imagine you could do it in increments so you're not totally out od pocket right away! I'd totally recommend these sound panels!

I think calling these "Sound Proofing" is a bit misleading, they are fairly light duty sound deadening / absorbing panels.They don't really offer any sound proofing (your neighbour is still going to hear you blasting 2am Trap out of your 15" bins), but they do make a bit of a difference to sound reflections in a space (it might not sound so much like you are Twitch streaming from an abandoned warehouse).There are enough in the pack here to build a nice little vocal booth or to do a wall panel behind your workspace if you use a mic at your desk. Performance is never going to be on a par with large acoustic rockwool panels, but they work well enough to make a difference.So overall I'd say they are useful, they don't reduce the amount of sound in the slightest, but they do make a bit of difference to the sound quality.

Bought to eliminate echo and noise leaking in our apartment. Installed, made little difference.Took down to hang wall decor instead. Absolutely destroyed the wall.After the first disastrous attempt to remove we tried heat,oil,water all to no avail. Unless they are a permanent fixture in your space I wouldn’t recommend
