I put this door together in under half an hour. I still need to put up the hardware but that shouldn't be an issue. I purchased a door frm a competitor and it was awful. I spent hours trying to fit the warped boards together with no luck. This door is top notch. Extremely satisfied. The price was great also. The door feels solid and weight was is appropriate for tge size of door. Fit and finish is superb. Well sanded too. Being thicker solid wood than some doors the sound should softened also.

I ordered the 60x96 door for a 54x96 opening. This product was stellar value. The hardware was of great quality and the door was very solid and easy to put together. Get some help hanging your 6 inch ledger board and making everything level. Also highly recommend buying the extra slow close track. I did not install the crossbeams for a less rustic, more modern look. Incredibly happy with the purchase. For stain I used a pre-stain because it is soft wood, 2 coats of oil based stain, and poly. You’re going to need a little more than a quart of each.

I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of this door and the hardware, especially at this price point. Assembling the door was very straightforward and was much easier than I thought it would be. One negative point that I wanted to make was the installation instructions. This part of the barn door experience was a bit frustrating. The instructions had a lot of information, but it was poorly organized and very confusing. Thr process itself wasn't bad once you figured out what they were trying to say, but it was much too confusing for something that wasn't that difficult of a process. In spite of the instructions, I still say this is a 5 star door, especially for the price.

Went together pretty easy, although the instructions have you do the plank installation the hard way. I recommend attaching the center piece to the side planks then putting in the slats and attaching the upper and lower pieces after that. Otherwise it is difficult to get everything lined up properly. The wood is cheap and mine came with a crack and a bit of warp. That didn't matter to me since I was going for a rustic look but if you're looking for solid perfection this isn't it. I am a woodworker so I have the tools to correct the little flaws so it works for my needs. In the end I bought this because it was cheaper than buying and building from scratch given the price of wood today. With a few hours of extra effort it can turn into something pretty decent.

Nice product for the price. Couple suggestions - buy the “bumper board” in advance (top board) - you will likely need it. I purchase a 7 foot by 6 by 1 pine board - worked out great. Stained nicely. Stain the door after assembly, not after you put hardware on it. I used water based behr poly stain (quick dry) and was happy after one coat so stopped there. Overall very satisfied. Time to complete about 4 hours, including staining.

The diagonal slats are cut at the wrong angle and way too long. Typical Chinese garbage, buy a door from a home improvement brick and motor store. Thankfully I know how to fix this but I shouldnt have to.

Just assembled this door last night, directions are simple, and door pieces all slide together easily. I highly recommend using an impact driver to screw in the lag screws though. We tried using our regular (Rigid Brand) drill and the long bit that was provided with the door, but the bit stripped out on the first screw before we could even get it in far enough. Brought out the impact and a higher end Phillips bit and they went in smoothly and with ease took about 45 minutes total to build the door portion. We haven’t installed the door hardware/hung the door yet, as I want to stain it first. Plan on using a header board for install. Will update this review if we run into any issues. Overall very pleased with this product and would highly recommend.

Great product at the best price I've seen. Easy to assemble, all necessary hardware was included.
