Gosh I wish I had had access to this book when I was trying to figure out these puzzles as a kid. The book makes the puzzles much more fun and gives the reader a chance to learn HOW to think through the spatial logic. Excellent!

This book makes difficult things seem easy, which is a great motivator for kids. Honestly, I had trouble with figuring out how to do the cube as much as my 7-year-old did, and this book was a great family bonding time for us.

I've read a fair number of Rubik's-cube-solving instructions over the years (most are mediocre), and I found this book's instructions to be quite good. The naming and reuse of patterns (i.e., righty code and lefty code) is very helpful in remembering the algorithms you'll need to solve your cube from start to finish. This book plus a Rubik's cube could make a nice gift.

This is a bright, colorful book on solving the Rubik's cube 3x3 and 2x2, and the Pyraminx. The simple steps and visuals make it easy to learn. This book is good for younger kiddos and those who are just learning. My 13-year-old son loves Rubik's cubes and can solve a 3x3 in under 40 seconds. He thought the book explained things pretty well to get someone started.
