The one I always come back to
I’ve tried them all—seriously. But 500 Mile Chai is the only one that hits like this. It’s the closest thing I’ve found to what I make at home: bold, rich, and just the right amount of kick. Nothing else delivers that same rocket fuel energy and deep, spiced flavor. I’ll keep testing new blends, but this one’s my ride-or-die.

There is no better tea.
As a long-time tea drinker, I can say this is the best English Breakfast tea available. I tried it when I visited their restaurant, so many years ago when they first opened and I’ve been buying 1# packages ever since. It’s been fun watching their business expand over the years. I use other teas from them as well but this is my daily must-have.

Delicious!
I have not tried any other chai teas, so I feel a bit biased here. But I enjoy this flavor! It's really smooth to me and I have to hold myself back from drinking a lot because it seems to disappear super fast, even though I'm the only one who drinks it in my house. One minute the container is full, and then I blink and it's almost empty! I will eventually try other chai teas, and I'm not an expert. I will say that I agree with another review that was on here. To avoid it being bitter, take 1 1/2 cups and boil it with the tea in there (I have tea infusers) for 3 minutes I believe, take the tea out, then put 1/3 cup of milk (I do 1/2 cup at times) then let that boil for 2 minutes and drink it! I have boiled it with the tea, then put cold milk in so I can drink it faster, but I've also steeped it and it is a bit more bitter but I still enjoy it.

Labels were wrong! But the tea is actually great!
Hi Amazon! YOUR LABELS ARE WRONG!I love tea, and I have no problem drinking this rose flavored tea (especially since I opened it before I noticed it’s not Earl Grey)But other buyers may not be as easily pleased. Note to customers, I’m giving it 1 star because Amazon got the order wrong, not because the Tea is at a 1 star level product. In fact, the flavor of this Rose Petal Black Tea is really great; like better than my Earl Grey. I may now have a new favorite! It is light and sweet. The smell of the dried leaves (and petals) is stronger than the tea tastes (which is good in my opinion). And this tea makes the kitchen smell delightful while you make your morning cup! Buy this tea!Amazon, please acknowledge this error and please do a review of your labels verse the original labels… then I’ll change the review stars because this is some gooooooood tea.

A very good quality Earl Grey. Sharp bergamot scent mellows well in the cup/glass.
First off, I am a long-time Earl Grey fanatic. I drink more EG than anything else. I have had what I consider to be the perfect Earl Grey and have since found myself ever-searching for another. This one isn't it -- but it's pretty darn good, IMO -- among the best, out of some 20+ brands I've tried over the years. When you open the pouch, you notice two things right away -- a fresh black tea with gorgeous blue cornflowers and tiny gold cornflower ribbons -- and a strong, heady bergamot scent. The bergamot smells like it's sourced from a top quality oil (this tea is organic), clearly not artificial in any way -- and they are certainly generous in its use in this tea, to the point of being just a tad sharp tot he nose. Happily, that sharpness mellows considerably and translates brilliantly in the cup/glass, into a well-balanced but definitely bergamot-forward EG. For the price, this is a very good tea that I think will please even the more discriminating EG fan. I would rate this a solid 4. By comparison, I'd give Talyor's of Harrogate a 3.5 (good quality tea, but not enough bergamot IMO), Twining's a 3.5 (good standby, but unspectacular), and Adagio Earl Grey Bravo a 4.5 (closest thing I've found to my EG holy grail). My perfect, most unforgettable Earl Grey was by Dammann Tea, many years ago. This one, while not being all that close, is very good indeed.

Well chosen spices and base tea makes this chai a hit.
I use this to blend with straight Assam loose tea to add just of hint of the spices to my daily breakfast drink. This brand uses the spices I would use myself compared to what most of the other brands used.Of course, taste is entirely subjective, and the way chai is made in India itself varies from place to place. But if you're looking to try a mild variety of chai or you're not satisfied with what you've been using, this is well worth a try.

VERY light spices, strong tea, but absolutely NOT loose leaf. Bottom 1/3 of the bag tea-bag fine.
Not nearly enough spices, roughly similar consistency to an average tea bag except for a sprinkle of peppercorns and an occasional identifiable bit of clove. It was fairly fresh as far as the tea, and the tea leaves have a decent flavor, but for the price, I expected much more. In smaller sizes, they list this product as "loose leaf tea". What I received in the 1lb bag was definitely much finer than loose, rolled black tea leaves. I guess I should have read that the 1lb package doesn't specifically say "loose leaf". Not recommended if you prefer tea with more of the spices that make it "chai".
