Unmatched Performance at 20k
Upgraded from 5600 on x470 board. I didn't even need to spend 7k on a liquid cooler. Just old stock wraith prism cooler from 2700x with Arctic MX-4. Games like Cyberpunk, RDR, GTA, ZZZ, Satisfactory, Stalker, Metro, ArmA, Dying light 2....all ran 1440p, 171fps(Interpolated), yet temperature always under 80! 70ish when loading. Mostly 60ish during gameplay. Which was a big surprise. Absolutely no throttling with default PBO. Always 4050mhz stable performance. I could see the benefits of large l3 cache. Didn't notice any micro stutters. Base FPS also higher now. And I still get to enjoy the cool mirage effects from the wraith while giving plenty airflow to GPU(from back), while in a comparatively smaller cabinet. Such low heat kept CPU fan always under 85%. Noise wasn't noticible while gaming. Aftermarket non liquid coolers should be even more silent and cooler. Difinitely best value for AM4 platform.

Get the 5700x3d and sleep on your bottlenecking concerns.
The 5700x3D is a beast for AM4 socket. Upgraded from a 3700x and the difference in FPS was mind boggling. All the stutters and framedrops vanished in a jiffy. Though I doubt it would be any better than 3700x in productivity tasks but in gaming it won't be an exaggeration to say it's a night and day difference. The packaging was rather fragile but hopefully I received the product in perfect condition with the pins being intact.

Best value for money processor in market for gaming
The media could not be loaded. I would say if you are thinking about upgrading to your CPU in AM4 socket. This is one of the best budget gaming high performance processor out thereRealtime in gaming compare to 5800x3d there is not much different in FPS and over all performance. This one is beast run any game smoothly without bottlenecking my RTX 2060For future i am planning to upgrade on RTX 4070 so there will be no issue with that too.Great product love it

Bang for Buck ! Great CPU on a budget
Upgraded from Ryzen 5 1600 !Still using First Generation B350M Motherboard.Great to see the compatibility and support for AM4 even in 2024.CPU gets hotter even when using 240mm AIO.. hits 86°C in full load.Using MSI Kombo Strike 3 in BIOS keeps it under ~75°C under same load without losing any performance.Power Efficiency is Phenomenal!

Absolute beast for gaming
I upgraded from 3700x to 5700x3d, thanks to AMD's 3D V-cache technology. I was getting 160-250 fps in cs2 with 5700x3d I get 400-450 fps with more responsive no shutters butter smooth.

a great chip for esports games
I was previously using ryzen 5 5600 (non X) with my 7700xt on an MSI B550 board and esports titles were running well on competitive settings and would only dip 20 fps below my monitor's refresh rate (ie, 220 from 240). It however did struggle to give me that locked and stable 238 fps in every scenario however cpu intensive. That is where this new x3D release from AMD came in with unlocked fps in the range of 400 with minimum dips to 350 in Rainbow 6 Siege which is my primary game. The results were similar for Valorant and Overwatch 2 as well where fps hovers around 400-450 with minimum dips to 350-370.Locking the fps to 2frames below my monitor's refresh rate (238fps) gave an insanely responsive setup that runs with minimal input lag on the all esports titles. This cpu is truely a game changer.
