Very good quality bands which I use weekly during my sessions. The strengths are accurate (i.e. red and purple are lighter, blue and green heavier). I would like a yellow band to be included as well, but other than that it's a useful and well made pack.

These bands gave us a reason to dig out the resistance band peg attachments that we'd packed away when assembling our power rack. After realising we needed matching sets in order to attach them properly onto our Olympic bar we ordered another pack.We've been cautious when using them as they seem very thin, and we've not used them at the same time as free weights (though we have combined the bands), but so far so good. They've held up to the (admittedly beginner) levels of speed and activity we've put them through.

To be honest I've never used resistance bands before... and I certainly don't look as fit as the guys in the product pics and video!! But I thought I'd give them a go - complementing my daily cross-fit workout.Come nicely packed in a compact box, along with a simple black storage bag and a handy door anchor (although I wasn't sure what that was to begin with).I've actually only used the blue 20-35 LB resistance band so far, as I thought I'd start with one of the lower resistance ones.The quality of the bands feels good, and with them being natural rubber they're meant to be skin friendly, however I do find the bands a little bit uncomfortable to hold/pull after a few mins use - as it dogs into my hands / skin a bit. But that maybe because I'm using one of the thinner bands for now. However, maybe a handle would make them more comfortable to use?I've used the instructions as a guide for exercising, but have mainly used my feet to anchor the band - rather than the door anchor - that's mainly due the layout of our spare bedroom where I've been using them.Overall they seem nice quality, and a good affordable introduction to resistance bands. Just a couple of niggles (maybe just personal) about how comfortable they are on my hands.

I have owned around 6 different sets of resistance bands and tried multiple others of friends or at gyms etc. so feel am pretty good judge of sets of resistance bands…….and having reviewed this set I can honestly say that based on the current selling price of £14.99 this in my opinion is excellent value.What you get with good quality bands is that the resistance feels true from the moment the band is no longer slack until it is fully extended during the exercise. With lower quality bands this is not always the case with the band feeling like it does not want to stretch but then does and overtime I have found these lose their resistance level and become easier to exercise with, which is not what you want. These bands are in the higher quality end and have a nice feel to them when exercising fully through the motion. At 4mm in thickness they should also last well over time (please see photos).The breadth of the levels of resistance across the 4 bands is suitable for someone new to resistance training / persons experienced in resistance training who do not require high levels of resistance to get their desired results from their training. In this set you receive the; red = 20 lbs, blue = 35 lbs, purple = 60 lbs, green = 100 lbs. If you wanted to increase the levels of resistance you can of course ‘stack’ the bands (i.e. if you use the purple and the green bands together you will have up to 160 lbs of resistance).In the box along with the 4 bands you also receive a door anchor, drawstring carry bag and information leaflet.The door anchor is a nice addition and opens up the number of exercises which are possible to be performed with the resistance bands in and around the home. A really IMPORTANT note though when using the door anchor is to ensure that you are pulling the opposite way to which the door itself opens, so you are pulling against the door frame. Please refer to attached photos showing how to fit the anchor and how it should look against the door frame once in place and being pulled on with resistance band.The draw string bag is not the best quality but is easily enough to store the 4 resistance bands and all accessories with some room for any additional items.Overall I would definitely recommend this set and taking into consideration the current selling price happily give it 5 stars.

I have found resistance bands to be one of the best forms of regular exercise at home. This set, priced at £16.99 at the time of writing, included four resistance bands of varying strengths, a door anchor accessory, a storage bag and a leaflet showing a few common exercises.The green band is the strongest (least elastic) in the set, rated at 60-100lbs of tension, compared to the lightest band which is 10-20lbs. I use resistance machines regularly and was pleased to find the green band provided a good upper-body and whole-body workout. All four bands are 41" in length, but their varying widths mean that thinner bands can be used for certain exercises that require more extension. The key is to select the right band based on the type of exercise and your current body strength.The bands are full loops (no handles) and have a high-grip soft rubberised surface. All four bands fit comfortably into the drawstring pouch provided for easy storage.Overall I think this is a good set, perhaps a little overpriced for what it is.
